Hello people. I know I'm getting in early but I'm going away (I will be back!). I'd like to sincerely wish all of my fellow Demonlanders a very Merry Xmas and a happy and successful (GO DEES!) 2015. We are all part of one big family. So whatever you wish for, I hope that your wish is granted (although a premiership in 2015 may be stretching it just a little!). Cheers and best wishes

GFY Clint.

You know I'm an atheist/ anti corporate.

You are merely doing this to antagonise me and the many that share my worldview.

Apart from the footy sentiments we obviously all share ,

I find your comments to be duplicitous and disrespectful.

and anyway the other half of the club are Jews who couldn't give a flying about Santa

You rude [censored].

A popularist post Clit. Bah humbug is my view on Christmas.

It creates a hell of a lot of alienation and feelings of loneliness amongst broad sections of the community.

So I like it.

Good for business.

All the best big fella.

Crint must have been convicted of drinking a sub $20 red.

As long as he is back in 2015 to witness an early vintage Dees team start to come of age.

Good wishes for peace on earth doesn't hurt anyone.

Yes communities are split but a smile a handshake and merry Christmas goes some way to mending that split.

Try it Biff it may make you feel good about yourself and others.

Can someone tell me what Xmas is?

Is it Christmas without the Christ to appease the atheists or something else?

Something else. It goes back several centuries as an alternative spelling for Christmas, but in the mid-19th century bible-bashing busybodies started denouncing it as un-Christian, and have done so ever since. Atheists never got a look in, partly because we just don't care.

HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
