I'm not sure what I'm allowed to cut and paste, but the thrust of it is that we're targetting Frost to replace Frawley, and he wants to come home. No mention at this early stage of what we'd offer.

Just spoke to my original source who said that this Sam Frost trade will happen barring any left field offers. eg At the last minute Tyson Goldsacks' girlfriend(and her parents) has declared she wants to return to Adelaide and apparently he had agreed to stay at Collingwood but had NOT signed yet, so that deal is all up in the air all of a sudden. Will post some other stuff that was mentioned on the main trading thread

Stating the obvious I know but you'd imagine GWS will be looking to package Frost with a player to get their hands on pick 2/3.

They would have no interest in a 4th round draft pick for Frost given they wouldn't even use it on draft day.

Would also make sense that Toby Greene would be the one shopped given his off field issues and stand-off with the club when he got suspended.

Pick 3 for Greene, Frost and a 2nd round pick?

anyone seen him play?

I saw some GWS games this season but didnt notice him, which isnt a bad thing of course

Was taken pick. 1 in the Rookie Draft in 2011 I think.

Seen a bit of him. His brother is Jack from Collingwood.

Similar to McDonald. Very athletic and fit for his size and can play forward.

Doesn't have the greatest foot skills but has a lot of desire.

Overall good pick up for our backline.

Not sure they'd even use pick 57 in the draft?

Don't GWS and GC have to trim their list over the coming years?

Don't think they'd want to delist one of their many top 20 kids to use pick 57 in an ordinary draft.

They have to trim their list by 2 this year. If O'Rourke, Jaksch and Frost leave and they don't bring in replacements they will need a minimum of 4 picks at the draft. Considering they currently have (assuming Frawley compo) picks 4, 21 (end of 1st compo), pick 24 and 41, plus likely first rounders for Jaksch and O'Rourke they probably won't use it.

Doesn't mean they wouldn't do the trade though - they don't get anything, but they help the player get where he wants to.

Frost can be steak knives if we swap pick 3 for O'Rourke and Jaksch. A Win-Win all round!

People are stoked with Frost, but not happy with Lumumba. I don't get this place anymore, i think i need to go and join 'Ology or Big Footy. i'm done.

For the record, i am happy with both players.

Go over to that other thread and count how many posters are not happy with HL.

And then look at how many have since recanted, or pulled back from their unhappiness.

HL gets a lot of unwarranted nonsense thrown his way, he also gets some warranted nonsense...

Sit a poster down and smack them in the face and tell them HL is coming and they will be happy he is.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
