mate, 200 centimetre players with blinding speed and goal sense dont grow on trees

For a team thats been devoid of any talent and flair all season, Its mind boggiling that he has been wasting away at Casey

Tactics is all I can offer hh

Either that, or sticking him at Casey until his form warranted selection is exactly what we haven't done these last 8 years.

Nothing, and I mean nothing would make me happier right now than beating North and injuring a few of their players before they go out in straight sets next week. I just can't stand them or their coach. Bunch of arrogant f'wits.

I hate North too, but surely you must support them against Essendrug next week.

Now frankie how do u spell Dunn??????

Guilty. Apologies :)

It's the excitement... We're breaking even around the ball, and Viney/Bernie are having good ones so there is some delivery into the forward line where things are not awful. Bring able to handball accurately a few meters would be useful too

Anyone listening who can give us an update on Maxy?

Just said maybe something to do with his knee.

He looked very unhappy coming off so I really hope it's not an injury which will affect his preseason again.

What happened to Gawn?

Came off injured. No word on what, but didn't look serious. Hammy or something.

knee Nasher, didnt look good, bent sideways

You'll be tongueing for a smoke!!

Not bad at the moment big fella.bout 91 days and srtress levels just about even.

This game is worst than most, last of the season and players just dont care.makes it very undesirable and cringeworthy/beer worthy

Right knee. The one that was strapped up. Injured during a ball up. Faaaarrrrrk.

Anyway, another pleasing quarter. Don't know why we're suddenly seeing fluid ball movement when it's been missing all year - we seem to be moving the ball quickly and well on the outside. Still enough skill errors to keep hearts in mouths, but I can suffer that. It's been good entertainment so far.

Thought Matt Jones was excellent that quarter as well.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
