Wouldn't it be seriously ironic if Roos guided us into last place despite the tangible improvement between rounds 4-15 and the major praise heaped on the man.

A win against either Brisbane or GWS OR if Saints fail to win another game should see us avoid the spoon.

Yeah, but we've improved.....

Where has that been from St Kilda all year?

More importantly though, how did Fremantle let that happen? To lose to the bottom side is bad enough, but to lose by 10 goals and be comprehensively outplayed the whole game is unfathomable.

Opens the door for Port to get back in the top 4, too, as if they needed more incentive for tomorrow.

Anyone who thinks we have a good list should look at tonight's results.

In the last two weeks we have been soundly beaten by Freo and Geelong.

The saints double Freos score and GWS get within a goal of Geelong.

We are fairly ordinary.

I thought GWS looked very good at times tonight. Stifeld Geelong and took there chances when possible. They are in much better form than we are at the moment.

And we beat Adelaide on their home ground and Adelaide belted GWS, we beat Richmond who beat GWS and Saints

Don't send yourself over the edge trying to compare results

Sylvia 7 possessions and 24 dream team points!

He also twice burnt his teammates by selfishly trying to be a hero and stuffed up both times. Pick 23 was incredibly generous and Vince, well...

Saw Freo's last quarter against GWS last week. They were playing like the cliche millionaires. Starting to get lazy and asking for a big fall. They have had a long run of easy games with little opposition. A rude awakening for them. St Kilda came to play.

I said after the Collingwood game we were still the worst team in the comp

I got shouted down by a few of the posters here who think they are experts when they know nothing about footy

we are still by far the worst team in the comp

I think St Kilda, Brisbane, GWS, and us are all as bad as each other, although our last month has been pretty awful.

I don't think any team in the comp this year is anywhere near as bad as the 2013 MFC, or the 2013 GWS for that matter.

Cannot believe the biassed commentary Just so bad BT waht does that stand for ?How about Big Turd hope all dees supports enjoyed the pies demise

Who's going to finish 8th?

Collingwood? They're falling apart.

Adelaide? Seriously? They don't strike me as a finals side; I'd be pretty disappointed to see them make it.

Gold Coast? Their best is the best of these three teams but they're not going to get close without Ablett, and they don't look like winning enough games (slash even one more game).

Watching Collingwood's slide just warms the heart. I love how quickly their fans turn on them as well.

This will probably make you shake your head P-man but I was barracking for the Pies yesterday.

I dislike Adelaide with unequalled enthusiasm.

When we beat them earlier in the year it was my Grand Final for 2014.

In the AFL of the 21st Century they are the team I never support.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
