God damn I loath North Melbourne. A bunch of sooks. Lindsay Thomas needs a good smack in the face!

Mckenzie has already obliged.

The only thing it wasn't hard enough.

Apart from the usual cr@p kicks and turnovers, we are also playing extremely loose.

This reminds me a lot of last week. If we don't start to control the midfield we will get smacked.

'Tis a pity Jordie didn't go harder...

We can win this easily

[censored] i hate North they are such pretenders

Yep, they are pretenders, but we can never beat them.

We always make sides like North look great.

And we make good players like Harvey - look like champions.

McKenzie seems like the last bloke that would throw an elbow.

Seems like a top bloke on and off the field.

We should all be furious at Dawes if he cops his second suspension of the year. Not good enough fr a leader.

If Dawes cops a suspension. I give up. I seriously will give up

I can handle losing to a good team. What I can't handle is losing to a bunch of frauds who rely on cheap tactics to get free kicks. I despise North that little bit more now. I hope we win!

Jeremy Howe tries to mark far too often.

Colin Garland has been surpassed at AFL level.

tyson, M.Jones, and Viney are thinking all the hard work is done now we've won a few games. Leaving too much to too few.

Dawes spending too much time asking for free kicks, just compete big fella.

If I see one more midfielder bomb in straight to their loose man, I'll Jump through the screen and strangle him myself.

I cannot believe we are playing this poorly, the umpiring is horrific and we're down by 14 points. We need to win this game. God I want it.

Need to run a poll on which decision of that half was the most mind boggling:

- The high against Kent where the ump acknowledged he ducked but "you ran into him".

- The advantage given from the infringement at the centre bounce

- Cross getting his head taken off and getting done for a throw

I'm sure there's another contender.

This game always brings out my hatred for North.

Still annoyed they didn't take the bait to go to Gold Coast. That smug James Brayshaw rejecting that massive offer.

The AFL then decides to create not one but 2 teams! Compromised drafts and draws.

North are an irrelevancy to me.

At lease we appear to be in the game. I really enjoyed being at the G last week. Fingers are crossed but at home with the kids this week.

For the second week in a row, we have a "mid with only 2 possessions at half time. I'm happy for Roos to use Salem or Riley as the sub but we can't afford players who do a couple of 1%ers but don't get their hands on it for 3 quarters. I think it's about time for Michie and Blease to get a run instead of them for a few weeks.

Everytime McDonald has the ball, my stomach sinks knowing that the opposition is about to get another possession.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
