Has anyone else heard the advertisement on SEN for a parking outfit at Melbourne Airport that starts off with a bloke whistling "It's a grand old flag" and then saying he went to Perth and saw his team get flogged but because he was so happy with the car parking services, he was thinking of changing clubs.

Don't these [redacted]s know that they are p[redacted]ing off fans from their own state. I for one will never avail myself of their [redacted] services and I recommend that nobody else does unless they remove the advertisement and apologise to the Melbourne Football Club for their offensive (and misleading because we're a different team now) advertising campaign.

Have heard it and agree.

The service is garbage and over priced anyway, but yes 'Jack' the add hasn't gone unnoticed.

The best way to fix this crew is to lobby for the airport train and then we might not have to put up with the extortion that is even worse than food and drink prices at the footy.

I travel a lot and use off airport parking (Jetport - fabulous service). I thought I may have been a little precious because I heard the ad, got annoyed and made a mental note never to try their service. Apparently I am not alone. It was really unnecessary.

That ad's so 2012 - 2013 ish. One of the by-products of being shite.

They were pretty spot on with the result though. In the ad it says we lost to Freo by 16 goals, while in reality we lost by 15 goals last year in rd 10..

I suggest you all take a deep breath.

I think it is funny.

lighten up guys

You can dump on my (ex) wives

You can even dump on my children.

But DON'T dump on my footy team.

Glad others have noticed this 30 seconds.

I have wanted to punch the Radio more than once.

It's now 2014.

This morning i heard it followed up by Paul Roos advertising AHG!!

Not only is the ad outrageous but Melbourne Airport parking in general is the closest thing to legalised theft that I have ever seen. It makes printer cartridges and bottled water look like a sound investment.

Okay, for the benefit of those of us not in range of Melbourne radio, please name them and shame them...!!!

The company doing the ad is Melbourne Airport Parking.

Before this shizen campaign they were responsible for the 'raelene and robbo, cheap flight from tulla to dubbo' ads.

The only ads I've heard on SEN that annoy me more were the 'shhh don't tell anyone, turn your radio down' ads for St Kilda Road towers...

The ad's been going for ages.

I can't imagine any Demon fan stupid enough to bankrupt himself parking at the airport.

I do the maths - cost of two taxi trips vs airport parking at Jetport - breakeven for me is a 1 week trip

I haven't heard that add but it sounds like the person lining their pockets with their car parking business must be an Essendon or Collingwood supporter.

While I shouldn't feel too precious over this add, BUT, I bloody well do I"m afraid!!! I'm too sensitive by half I'd say, over the Melbourne Football Club

Its all about stereotypes and reinforcing them and it infuriates me, they can count me out of parking the car there, but i suppose i don't count , but if the Dees fans , thousands of em elected not to park there, that would be marvellous !!

I would find it amusing if it was any other team but mine…. As I say, I'm a touch sensitive !!!

I'm with you - it is all about stereotypes and reinforcing them and it angers me no end and...wait...I'll finish this post later - I gotta get my skis out of my range rover without ruining the leather sleeve patches on my tweed jacket ( go the number 6).

When did that abomination appear in the daily??

A short time before the whole Mitch Clark thing--which makes it all the more embarrassing and awkward for all concerned.
