There are two ways to protest against the AFL's moronic decision to suspend Viney for two games.

The first is to boycott Melbourne games. To me this is not an option because it will hurt our club more than the AFL.

The best way is to boycott the sponsors of the AFL. But you need to tell them that you're doing it, send a message to the AFL that you will boycott their Corporate Sponsors in protest and then send a message to each one explaining why. Don't be aggressive, just tell them that whilst they sponsor the AFL you won't be using their products.
This is the only way to make the AFL listen to the people that makes their large pay packets possible.

Here is a link to the AFL's sponsors:

For Toyota click on this link:

For Gatorade:

Coca Cola:

Carlton Draught:

nab:

The more people who do this the more impact there will be.

The real power base is the broadcasters.

Tell them you won't be watching any more....

They don't accept email complaints but complaints can be made via:

Please contact the Seven Network through one of the following methods:

Phone: (02) 8777 7777
Fax: (02) 8777 7180
Mail:

If they got 20000 complaints that would set them off....

Just do what we should do anyway. Attend the game instead of watching it on TV, if you're able to

the biggest message would be to not attend saturday night, and have no one in pink on the ground for their "show case" game for weekend and make it a disaster

Anyone who boycotts this or the Melbourne game because of Viney is a disgrace.

The best form of protest is to attend the game.

Would love to see all supporters of all clubs showering the grounds (for their respective games) with marshmallows... maybe pink ones at the MFC v Bullies game?

One thing soccer fans do is protest well, at times they organise for stands to empty at a certain time, or not to sing, turn their backs, banners etc

... and start by Boycotting the powerful clubs, who steal all the marquee games & TV rights.

Stop watching the Pies/Blues/Bummers/ on TV !

patronise the lesser clubs, to help our game out... stop making the powerful clubs, More powerful.

Funny how the biggest covert critic of PJ's push for Anzac-eve game was Edward "loose tongue" McGuire.

The question needs to be asked, is Eddie losing it?

He might have early onset neurological condition. How does an A grade experienced professional come out with "Ape" and the C word on live TV in the space of one year.

Must be the half an inch of makeup he puts on before Ed & Derm. I just want to scrape it off with a shovel.

Another good protest would be Andrew Demetriou to go on a hunger strike.

Win-win.

why punish the poor local souvlaki store owner?

At quarter-time we stage a mass crowd protest: We all turn our back on the ground and look inward at each other - the fans.

Or we could place paper bags on our heads.

Wait, what are we angry about?

you'd have to wonder if he's been sniffing baking soda again ?

too early in the AM for an I AM to think clearly.

Well Said Clint. The bigger crowd the better and some form of huge response to Viney as he walks around the boundary to do an interview or whatever..

Anyway, he'll win the appeal and then get 30 kicks and lay 9 tackles.

that could be the stupidest idea I have heard yet. Take it out on a worthy charity that has already lost much of the publicity it should be getting this week.

So far I have phoned Channel 7. They took my complaint and said it would be passed onto the Director of Sports. I said that as a family we would be boycotting AFL sponsors products Channel 7 programs & sponsors until the Viney penalty is removed.

I have emailed AFL, Coca Cola, Telstra, Foxtel, Gatorade, Carlton United, NAB all basically the same message but specific to each of their products, more to come.

I am as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more!

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
