they've just discussed Hogan - gulp... not sounding good

that twit Barret says "serious doubt if he'll play again" - Gazza has a seizure, and then it all calms down a bit... but sounds worrying

Feck me... His back will come good but we may have to reassess our expectations for his involvement this year.

Like ever again?

Sounded like it initially, but clear it's the usual dimwit hype - whatever the real situation is, Barrett's not worth listening to, and wouldn't know.

Some clarification about "this year.. mumble"

He clarified that he was talking about this year. They are also holding out with something on Trengove and his foot later in the show.

Hopefully it's HD footage of Trengove applying said foot to Barrett's behind at high speed.

damo is just reporting what he hears. The thing that annoys me apart form the face Hogan has a stuffed back and cant get on the park is the fact we have to hear about it on the footy show. When he first hurt it it was the footy show that revealed it not the club.

Will we ever catch a break?

This club has just been a catastrophe.....

Wake me up if anything good ever happens will you.

The Trengove thing was just a few short pieces of an interview he's done where he talks about the pressure he felt being captain and being slightly relieved that he now knows there was a reason he couldn't run properly. Stuff like that.

I really enjoy seeing Dawes in the media because he is really well spoken and a great representative for the club.

His perspective on Jesse was quite good, he said the club is taking the approach that this is a young footballer that we intend to have with us for 10+ years so we're getting him right for the long term not the short term.

Still bloody frustrating though.

There was absolutely nothing new in the Trengove interview. Typical Footy Show filler.

Barrett should be ashamed of himself for talking crap about Hogans injury. He would have no idea and has made it up. Not fair to the kid or the club. Lower form of life than algae.

FFS are you people really that naïve, isn't this the same Damien Barrett who only recently reported that Dawes was still at least a month away.

Algae is harmless. Barrett is malicious. To say he's a lower form of life is one hell of an understatement.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
