For over 7 years now, some will argue considerably more, the last rounds of the season have been more interesting and exciting for us in terms of who might be lured to the red and the blue, then what actually was happening on the ground. We won't discuss 2012 in terms of recruitment as that doesn't need revisiting, but with the arrival or Tyson and Vince, things are looking up. Roosy signing a third year can only help. I'm running the risk of serious p$&@ taking but could we start a legitimate, "ON good authority ....(players name) is now/becoming/will be a demon next year...

I'd love to know the number of games where the turning point has been a bs free kick against us, when we have had momentum. The Gold Coast game, (Garry ablett free) bulldogs (crameri) even terlich free against Richmond nearly cost us, the. Today, time and time again. I'm sure there's more. God it hurts when you know we should have won and others interfered

Maybe it's time for a new letter by Peter "the saint" Jackson. Surely after the past month those who haven't signed on would at least consider a lesser membership. I still don't understand why commentators are having a crack at our game plan. Nearly crashed my car yesterday listening to Hudson bemoan our game plan. This from a bloke who wears brown zinc cream whenever a Geelong player is around. We lost this game last year by a bear 90 points. This year it's 31. Surely that's evidence if improvement. They get stuck into us when we leak goals and now they are doing it because we don't. I loved Saturday night. I haven't seen a Melbourne team attack a player or tackle as hard as they did for years!!! We haven't been that tough since the danniher years and even they were hit and miss. Port making finals last year was the worst thing that could have happened for us as everyone expects us to do it. Our list is sooooo much better but still needs huge overhauls. Get Crossy to be roos understudy. he'd have been an amazing captain for the dees, much as what jones will be if given the chance. Everyone would be staying he is an all australian if he was at a collingwood, Geelong, hawthorn etc. if I hadn't already signed up if definitely have done it based on what I've seen. We will cause a few headaches in the second half of the year!

Peter Jackson asked unsigned members to wait till round 5 and judge the performance of the club then. Take out the west coast game, throw Dawes in at round one, Mumford gets injured 2 weeks earlier, we play the same 4 qtr effort against Gold Coast like we did against Carlton then members would be swarming back. Surely? But those things didn't happen and we are 1 and 4. But..... Instead of averaging 122 points against we are averaging 82 and there has been big changes both on and off the field. So for unsigned members, is this enough?

Call me mental but I honestly believe our list is in better shape then Carlton. The difference is that our players don't believe it. For players under the age of 22, they rank 18th in terms of quality. Judd is gone, even though he is a "great" of the game, he's not playing against us so it doesn't matter. Kreuzer, how watts cops more flak then this bloke is beyond me, he's gone. Ok they have murphy, Simpson and .............................. Who, Gibbs? Warnock? Walker? Yarran? Yes on their day they are good, but that's on their day. We have players go can match this mob. The difference between these two teams is that Melbourne players don't believe they are better whilst Carlton players eg Robinson take delight and truly believe the are.
