Tyson - was actually shocked to see Carazzo come to him on Saturday, was told by coaches to just keep playing the way he has been told to, was pleased with his defenisve efforts

Pretty good compliment for a kid lining up in his 17th AFL game.

I told him that, still think he needs convincing on how good he is

On that note, at the end of the training, Vince, Tyson and Nate Jones had a goal kicking comp for lunch

This is in the left pocket next to the fence so about 30 metres and a 15 degree angle, Tyson put all three of his shots through for a goal post high with his left foot...much to the other two's disgust, Jones got 2 out of 3 and Vince missed all three

I reckon a fit Nev Jetta running through the mid field would be like having another Jack Viney.

Seems like a great bloke. Hope he gets a go soon.

Not surprising though, the guy is an absolute ball magnet. The first of many tags, I'd expect. Still can't believe he landed on our laps.

Yet the "experts" still think we should've taken Kelly.

F-wits.

I know. The concept that a high profile trade could be a win for both parties is one lost on the halfwits that comment on our game.

You haven't heard about Josh Kelly?

Future brownlow medallist, that kid.

Ask around, there's plenty of people who haven't even seen him play yet, but they still know that much...

Oh well...that's the way it goes. Tyson looks a future Brownlow chance to me.

Looks like it could be at this early stage.

"Nev Jetta said he hasn't had anything about being elevated"

He's the obvious candidate. As far as selection goes, he and Clisby must be neck and neck.

sounds like he's banging the door down on the seniors. Good reports on his casey performances.

Damien Barrett criticises Dom Tyson trade to Mfc... has never seen him play...

What is the "Watts" goal kicking approach? Walking in slowly or something?

They both explained it to me, part of it is the 'relaxing', Roh Bail was worried about it the second he picked up the ball to go back and prepare, basically Watts has told him to just do the routine like Watts does, he counts the steps backwards, relaxes his shoulders and drops his arms and takes a long slow breath, sights the goal, starts slowly and then tries to just make it one smooth flowing action coming in.......the main point is not to worry about anything just concentrate on following the simple routine...seemed to work for both of them on Saturday, if you watch you will see the similarity.......watch Dunn if you want to see something completely different

Yeah that's how I got good at golf after being a hacker most of my life...

Your routine controls your thoughts so anxiety can't.

I hope Nev gets elevated , he is hard and with full fitness will be valuable . More of a footballer and around the same size as Swan Ablett senior and junior . Allthough god would give him trouble

I thought I noticed him & Jack saying something to each other after he nailed that goal.

Great initiative by Roh Bail to seek out the best set shot in the club & ask him how he goes about it.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
