This is unacceptable! Sack the bored!

But more seriously, it is a bit of a newspeak clanger.

I'm bored... does that mean I get the sack?

This is the worst thread i have ever seen

Even worse than some of the threads i have made

I wasnt condemning it

I was complimenting it.. Ive been trying to make the worst thread for ages

Actually I think my thread where I complained about no training photos on the MFC website still has this one beat

Because we all know that Demonland epitomizes proper grammar and spelling...
The problem is that he used a noun instead of an adverb at the end of his sentence.

This was discussed in the Mitch Clark's Foot topic... and I am not so sure it is actually a grammatical error.

Edit: I take that back. Just checked the article and noticed the heading says "positively" and the body text says "positivity"... perhaps it was written on an iPad and he is a victim of the dreaded Apple spell-checker.

However, the term "progressing positivity" can be also correct and could be applied in this case. For example, Clark's progress with his foot could be progressing positivity at the club.

The heading's been changed from the original grammatically incorrect heading and I say that with some positivity.

This is an important post because it shines a light on this high tech age we find ourselves in where abbreviations and grammatical errors are par for the course and it shines a light on those who don't care that the english language is being raped before our eyes.

Wouldn't mind if they had an easier link to contacting the club at the end of the article. It's minor and it'd stay minor if you could say pssst Burgo, ya done used the wrong word. Maybe Burgo should pm his email address to all the best spellers on Demonland. We'll be like planeteers for spelling corrections etc. Grammarteers.

Because using rape as an analogy for careless grammar is sooooooo high-brow.

Anyway...

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
