Yeah, the lying is pretty much the only mark I could bother having against him.

As it is, his price tag might just cost GWS a premiership in the long run, so eh.

If he'd been at Melbourne, he would've come third in our B&F, too. Hopefully next year we will push past that line, with development and injuries clearing up. That's all that matters.

He probably would have too.

But the Hogan / Toumpas/ Viney shuffle that his leaving allowed means that he can win the next ten at GWS and we'll still be ahead.

But he's not one of ours so that's about all the time I have for him.

And a truly remarkable achievement to finish 3rd in the b & f considering he wasn't in the best three for his team more than once or twice during the season.

I think it might have something to do with the unique voting system at GWS where they weight the votes by multiplying the score by each player's pay packet.

Not that I personally know or actually care.

But from comment on the Demonland Forums said he was doing poorly in GWS

And I trusted other Demonland Posters, shame on you for inaccurately reporting to the rest of us!

But as I don't care I forgive you.

He lied to a very sick jim stynes. To his face. I will not forget or forgive.

Should you cast the first stone?

We would never have afforded the exorbitant salary and in retrospect MFC have done well out of his departure.

Well done to young Tom. The former no. 1 draft pick seems to have been successfully turned into a tagger. The fact that he averaged the same amount of possessions and had an inferior rating to our own Jack Trengove, who we and the industry considered to have an exceedingly poor year matters not.

I believe that, to his eternal credit, Jimmy recognised the lie when Scully told it. It's not a matter of whether the kid was sitting on an offer he couldn't refuse or whether we were or were not adequately compensated in the end; it's a matter of ethical conduct.

For that, we're all entitled to our views and I have no qualms about casting the first and last stones. Not at Scully himself (although he bears some responsibility) but at his advisers, his family and those at the AFL who made it happen.

Considering the money he is on they can't be impressed with his output so far, losing Scully has been a big win for us

If you don't care why did you bother posting that rubbish?

GWS have to justify spending, sorry WASTING big $$$$ on the liar so letting him finish in the top 3 will help them with that.

Did his dad get up on stage and accept the award to? (No doubt while eating a pie)

Now! now!

Just because we have opposing views in another post there no need to stalk me.

Easy, just stop posting rubbish.

I don't for one second believe that was the reason you posted your comment against me.

Just build a bridge and get over it.

Life is too short to hold grudges.

I hope that weasel is spitting chips (which I'm sure phat Phil is eating) that he left now.

He probably isn't because he's a millionaire, but I am a strong believer in karma and I don't think he will ever experience real success because people like him don't deserve it.

List some more cliches if you like.

Living in the depths of NSW there are only 2 games sure to be broadcast on TV each week. Sydney & GWS games. Having watched all the GWS games (between their performance and the endless excuses and barracking they get from commentators, it would be almost as painful as watching us - if I cared), I'm sure $cully was only made #3 to justify Sheedy's lunacy in paying him so much.

I have the same issue living in Country WA but it the WCE and Freo games. I have little time for both local teams.

Sometimes you are right as we do what we can to justify our decisions at times.

Scully got to 3rd in the GWS Best and Fairest the same way that Lynden Dunn got to sixth in ours; Consistently good-ordinary performances in a team where most others were wildly up and down.

My comment about us having players to 'pass' him is more about the development to another level that I hope to see; consistent 'actually good' performances from more players.

It's easy to imagine half a dozen players push up a gear, such as Trengove, Clark, Grimes, Frawley, Howe, Watts, Viney, McDonald.

Come to think of it, that group plus Jones, Garland and Sylvia would be a likely top ten collection.

Apologies to the surprise packet first year players and to Jooooooordieeee McKenzie.
