"Final details are still being sorted, however, early next year Cadbury and Melbourne will announce a sponsorship worth about 1.5million per yr as a secondary sponsor.

I cannot reveal my sources just yet, however, it is from inside the club.

Part of the deal will involve select players in promotional roles, which will upset a few at AFL house"

Quoted straight off big footy, so grain of salt type stuff, but sounds a pretty big deal if true!!

Anyone else hearing things?

Big Footy is the biggest load of crap in the cyber world, be nice if true, plus we have a secondary sponsor in opel.

I know nothing about this but hope it's true and we can get the deal done and approved by the AFL.

The sad thing is that the realities of the politics surrounding the MFC means that some of the people most upset by this will be those who claim to be supporters of the club.

If this rumour proves to be true I bet some here will still blame Cam Schwab...

No no, whenever anything good happens it was because of the previous board apparently...

sounds good! what are the other sponsors we have worth? for a secondary sponsor this seems reasonably large, but then i don't know what the others are worth.

Why would this upset a few at AFL house?

i'd say just because they're not exactly a healthy brand. They'd probably rather companies that promote healthy living or something different entirely, but then the olympics have Mcdonalds as their official sponsor!

Rubbish I've been telling my wife for years that chocolate is a health food and I'm sure it is; isn't it?

Highly doubt it.

The same mob promotes gambling shamelessly.

Also didn't make a peep when Carlton signed Mars.

I've been told that dark chocolate is healthy but I'm not a nutritionist.

Dark chocolate is like a super food and the more you eat the healthier you become, whereas milk chocolate is just healthy but doesn't have the super nutrients.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
