Thanks goodness they're good boys with good records of behaviour and can play next Saturday against Fremantle.

I hope they continue to behave nicely when they go over there because I've been told the crowds in Perth are very dangerous - Ugly crowd scenes at Patersons Stadium.

I have no idea about the Garland incident, but Bail is very lucky.

That was super dumb and he could have seriously injured his opponent. If the situation was reversed I'd be livid.

But, thank goodness they can both play on Saturday night and keep those finals dreams alive

Can someone explain the difference between a "good record" and "no record, good or bad"? If I've never incurred a speeding ticket or any other driving infringement, do I have a "good record", or "no record, good or bad"?

I think the "no record, good or bad" means the player hasn't got a five year history.

Clever *wink*

You have a good record. And believe it or not, if Dustin Fletcher plays another five years without a suspension, he will have a good record as well.

Bail is very lucky imo. Obviously took a dose of agro pills before the game (which I don't mind in the least) but throwing an opponent into the fence is not a 'tough' act.

a good-record is afl-speak for no-record for 5 years

With the last game coming up I would take the one week penalty for each and start the new season with nothing hanging over their heads. Probably be accused of tanking but I would seriously do it.

Apparently there are 15 more MFC players charged by the MRP after the loss to Adelaide on the weekend.

They are each charged with falsely impersonating an AFL footballer.

The penalty handed down is........

Signing on to Demonland and starting a thread about yourself including a poll on whether you should be traded/sold/horsewhipped.

I'm surprised the MRP is game to cite a medical report from the crows after last time. Surely having been so badly duped by Dangerfield's serious concussion they would take anything Adelaide submits with more than a grain of salt.

Garland's tackle on Tippett was almost a sling where he had his arms pinned.

Didn't look good, considering Tippett's headaches.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
