Bang.

If it wasn't already over for Carlton, is it now. Way to lead, superstar.

4 weeks is about right IMO.

Very lucky, by my reckoning he was looking at 6 and even that is lenient!!

Did he plead Tired & Emotional, in need of a rest? I'm surprised they didn't sentence him to 4 weeks on Hamilton Island. Oh AFL don't own it, do they?

Fat chance of him showing remorse....

"I am really really sorry.............(that I was caught)"

As far as Brownlow betting is concerned, he has cooked his goose with his fowl act. I guess he will be too chicken to try it again.

4 weeks is only a number of missed games.

Judd has lost a lot of fans from this and it will be a blight on an otherwise awesome footballers career.

4 weeks !!!

what a f*#!en joke !!!!

bunch of softcox at the Tribunal.

Trenners got 3.. for what...an essentialy legal tackle !! ffs

Judd.............................

words fail me

I was just thinking, he is a dual Brownlow Medalist yet of all the current players he has been involved with several of the nastiest sneaky incidents I can recall; more than any other player in recent times. Sure BBBH used to blow a fuse from time to time, but wasn't generally up to anything sneaky like this.

His legacy will be forever tainted by these nasty brain fades.

and Taylor Walker got 3 weeks for an essentially legal tackle, and just in, apparently Ziebell has got 4 weeks for what?

Time for a drastic overhaul!

Time for a 4 week training camp with Frank Mir.

I reckon if Carlton are looking for a new third party deal for Judd's new contract, they could couple Judd's role as ambassador for recycle at VISY with Nando's. Judd could boost sales with their Peri Peri Chicken wings. He would look great dismantling a few....

Apparently regarded by many as a great decision maker..personally I love watching him in full flight, brilliant footballer, dual B'low medallist....but:

*Eye Gouge

*Pressure points

*Chicken wing

....doesn't look great on his CV.

Thanks. Had completely forgotten that show.

He probably instructed his own councel how to proceed, & no doubt with a wink & a smile, gave an encouraging glance at the Tribunal chair as to how he was doing.

But what was that Silhouetted 6' 6" dark headed figure in the Geppetto tailored Navy Blue suit, behind the frosted glass, overseeing the whole Pantomime. Looking more like a squad of Marionettes dancing on strings. They arrived at a subluxed, but yet civilized slap on the Wrenched Right wrist.

I'm content with the 4 weeks and the spanner in the works it produces for the Blues.

Looking forward to Judd's next party trick- some kind of anal-play. Probably.

Well Carlscum and in particular Crudd, may the karma faeries smite you both down big time from here on in.

What a contrived and cynical defence to offer up. That Carlton would go to such lengths is hardly surprising but for anyone to have the temrity to offer up such p!ssweak mitigation for what is obviously a dog of an act is scandalous. That the AFL even bought it is almost as bad, but then they have form themselves of fawning over their prized franchise players.

For mine he should have been rubbed out for at least the rest of the year and ideally one into next season. But again the Teflon t*#d gets away with it.

To the AFL, what sort of message do you think this really sends to all the Mums and Dads out there ?

You could have been a man about this Crudd..totally fessed up as having a brain fade and totally remorseful but no, you again lie through your arse.

Doesnt matter, we cal all see you for exactly what you are , contemptable. Once a star, now just a blackhole.

The same sort of contrived cr@p that they served up with the "pressure point" defence for his second eye gouging charge.

The high and mighty at Princes Park just think they have some divine right to do as they please.

Boo hoo Judd....always making moronic comments & always getting away with it....until now!!!

You cant do that to players...its unsportsmanlike!

Suck it Carlscum.

Couldnt happen to a better Club....I hope it hurts them.

Yep...my hatred for them runs deep.

Oh & Judd "tell them you wont be coming"...For four weeks.

This what the whole thing was about for me. A chance for him to fess up, sincerely apologize and take the whack on the chin.

Instead, confirmation that although he may be a wonderful footballer, he is a person of questionable character.

Carlton supporters should be embarrassed that he leads their club.

I know it won't be very popular here but I think 4 weeks is about right. A precedent is now set.

BUT I think 4 weeks for Ziebell is very tough. When you watch it in real time you realize he had 1/10th of a second to decide what to do. If he doesn't go he's Josh Hunt from a few rounds back when everyone called him soft.

It feels like too much emphasis is put on slow motion footage and not enough common sense is used by people who've played the game.

Thats why Judd's was ordinary. It was premeditated. You don't just accidently end up in the situation he did.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
