Chris Judd's chicken winging of Leigh Adams

If Jack Trengove got 3 weeks for his sling tackle last year then the MRP has to look at Judd's tackle on Adams tonight. Nearly ripped his shoulder off. I know it's a dangerous tackle because the same thing happened to me once and I had to undergo a shoulder reco. Still have pain there and sublux from time to time. The AFL can't let this one go.

I hope to god he gets rubbed out. Should get weeks for that. Pissweak.

In other observations on tonights game, Norths kids all look like footballers, aka none of them are twigs. I understand we focused most of our preseason on running but i like forward to having a full team of solidly bodied players.

Also, gotta laugh at Carlton. Traded us pick 11 for McLean, offloaded fev to get pick 12, then used it on Kane Lucas.

Here Here, Just the perfect Friday night as far as I'm concerned

Re Judd yep must be cited and should get 4-5 weeks methinks. Typical after his eye gouge effort a few seasons ago!!

On another matter Geez we dodged a bullet with Kruezer by name and nature would have to be one of the softest ruckmen ever gees he hates contact and cannot take a mark to save himself. Harr Har ho LOL I'm having a fabulous friday night! Carltank yep and what goes around comes around and well what do you expect to get with a club that's made of cardboard! Eh?

Could we possibly win tomorrow?

Please a win would make my weekend after tonights result

He has a history of gutless sniper acts. How he won his second brownlow beggars belief, insufficient force!!! A protected species.

The pressure points incident was not only gutless but openly admitted and clearly intentional, this act is no different. He has intentionally set out to hurt a helpless opponent.

It's a shame such a great footballer also happens to be a cheap, gutless sniper.

Expect this statement from Andrew DubmItriou: "The incident was clearly seen by the adjudicating umpire who quite rightly awarded player Judd a free kick for a cowardly and unprovoked attack by Kangaroos players. There is nothing in the video to suggest that Judd was doing anything untoward, but was merely attempting to assist an opponent to his feet. The MRP will however closely scrutinise the actions of several Kangaroos players for their attack on Judd."

Actually watching that now with the sound I have to say that the behaviour of the 7 commentators was only slightly less disgraceful. Their inane giggling at Judds actions really backs up the thoughts of the man in the street that this bloke is treated defferently to the rest by the media mugs.

The fact is that he played a fantastic game with the one major blemish being the tackle. The MRP probably will give him the benefit of the doubt but it could easily be classified as intentional and then he would be in trouble. Adams already had a heavily strapped shoulder and it could be interpreted that Judd deliberately meant to harm him. That sort of thing is precisely what the AFL must stamp out - it has a duty of care to the players to do so.

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the
