What questions would you most like to ask Mark Neeld if you were having dinner with him tonight?

"What is going to change in the first month of 2012, and who is going to step up in a new role"?

Posted
Mr Neeld Why is Juice Newton washing your car, mowing your lawns and doing your laundry?

LOL

.....and just where have you hidden the goat photos, and am I in any of them?

Posted

Mark,

We need toughness but how do you control a loose cannon such as Col Sylvia?

Posted

That Nose of yours.

Have you heard of Rhinoplasty?

Got any ideas who can kick out from full back?

We have been bloody ordinary at this skill since Danny Hughes went back to South Australia.....

Good question

1. what are your plans with Jack Watts

2. What style will you try and get the boys playing

3. What are we missing / where were the hole's in our best 22?

Posted

" Have you , Mark , yet formed an opinion as to the present quality of of our list and its potential ? Was lack of motivation a possible factor in so many dreadful performances ? "

Given that you didn't support the club through the humiliating years of 87-88, not to mention the 23-24 years previous to that, are you in any position to make any judgements about the Melbourne Football Club? There you go wyl.

I mean honestly, do we have anywhere near enough quality cattle to challenge?

When do you seriously consider us to be giving it a shot?

Your personal opinion of the $cully fiasco and will there be instructions to [censored] him over when we play GWS?

Posted

Doesn't everybody?

Tomorrow I will be asking him about his perception of the holes in the list - what roles he thinks we need filled and how we plan to do that.

Posted

Oh, and what exactly makes him think Matthew Bate will be a valuable contributor in his system, when he has such glaring limitations.

Your point is......? Looks good but no substance really.

What can you see Bate becoming, how you are going to use Clark and what kind of forward set up will we have, how the midfield is looking and who are you going to try in there, his thoughts on Morton.

Guys and girls - he has been there for weeks and hasn't had any exposure to the players on the track.

I really doubt his thoughts would be anywhere near concrete.

Pretty much done to death but there will be one day a realisation that the problem is not with the full back kicking out but the continual lack of movement by anyone upfield to give the kicker a viable clear option to kick to. We just don't work hard enough to get a couple of metres of clear space.

Agree. I never understand why the ruckman (Jamar, Martin or whoever is in the role at the time) is not around the 50-55m mark for the kick-in, he always seems to be around 70m+ away from the kick-in and the kick never makes it that far.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
