Thanks DeeVoted.

Therefore, we could already go out and get a commitment from him to join up.

The difference is that there is no GWS Mini Draft any more which is the thing that probably prompted us to go early with Jack Viney.

From what I've heard about Billy, he wants to be a Demon. I have a feeling that it's possible that there been work done behind the scenes to ensure that's what he'll become.

Correct WJ. No GWS threat anymore.

He has said that his lifelong dream is to play with us. His father is on good terms with the club. I think Todd is pretty friendly with Steve. I also think Billy said he knew JV and wanted to join him. The club has been in constant contact with Billy and his family.

I would be stunned if he went into the draft other than as a F/S for us. He is also not a first round pick ATM.

Posted

Happy for him to stay a second round pick, because he will hopefully come as a later pick with a better understanding of the requirements of AFL than most, which may make the step up easier. That frees up our first round pick to spend on the best.

Can someone confirm, is he eligible for draft end of 2014? If so we may even snare him with a third round pick of he isn't rated in the top 20.

They're my favourite team," said Billy, a Year 8 Immanuel College student who has always worn his dad's No.18 on his back. "Because dad played there, I've loved them since I was a little kid."

Through their fathers' friendship, Billy has grown up with Jack and said he would jump at the chance to join him at the Dees.

"We're good friends, so I'd love to play with him one day," he said. "It's always been my dream to play AFL but I realise it's going to take a lot of hard work to get there."

Son of Melbourne Demons legend Steven Stretch on club's radar at just fourteen years old

Eligible 2014 draft.

In cotton wool for the 2014 draft night.

That's it, we know he can play.

Sign him up on the downlow and tell him to take it easy in 2014.

Preserve yourself kid, you have a long hard slog ahead of you.

The kid is still only a Zygote-

He may or may not be a champ.

I think the fact that we cling to the hope of him being a player points to our desperation.

I've just had a brilliant idea.

I'm calling it DEMONLAB.

We start collecting sperm from Robbie Flower(not volunteering personally BTW)

and mix it with an egg from say Cathy Freeman.

We do ten or twelve of these variations a year to keep the list topped up .

Then we build a Breakfast Point type facility at the Viney household where they can be raised properly(on a diet of red leather).

Wait twenty years and the perpetual dynasty is begun.

Other matches could be Lyon / Pittman , Schwartz /Natalie Jackson etc.

With DNA we could breed out the genetic defects like Garrys back, Schwartas knees.etc

That little Michelle Pearson would go well as a match with Ricky Jackson.(in and under rover/nice leap in the pocket)

This could be the way to a perfect future for Demons everywhere.

we will create Demonsraum (living space) as they progress in number and naturally we will kill all the girls at birth.

Any thoughts?

SA U/18's had a good win today. Billy got a call-up in the squad yesterday. Just got a direct tweet from Steven Stretch:

Hi Matt He got through ok! Played about 2 and a half quarters mainly in BP! Had a dozen touches or so! Reasonable first up!

“Cometh the hour cometh the man”

Biff you are a visionary. This idea should make you a hero, no a legend of the MFC. It is brilliant in its simplicity. And like all great ideas, one can only wonder why it has not been thought of before. Tell us, did those delightful twin boys from, Brazil – the ones who were staying at the Gatwick- inspire you?

One insignificant criticism. Your plan to do away with the girls is a tad wasteful. After all, we always need water carriers and people to flaunt sponsor advertising.

Could someone please remind us at what stage Jack Viney made his commitment to us?

I stand corrected but I thought it was at least at this time of his second last season in under age ranks i.e at around the stage where Stretch is now.

I think it was when he was about 12

I'm assuming you'll also request samples from Lucas Cook and Cale Morton as a matter of course.

Those guys have extracted samples from the MFC for years.

Cale might not be capable yet.

Oddly enough, it has been tried in other sports, although not in so professional a manner. There was a certain female tennis player whose mother was rumoured to have had a shortlist of professional athletes she could be impregnated by to have the perfect athlete child. When she made her pick she stalked him relentlessly until she got what she was after. And let's not forget that Boris "Boom Boom" Becker's swimmers were misappropriated and made use of in a highly dubious manner as well.

Personally, I could see the Ox and Lauren Jackson producing the greatest footballer the game has ever seen.

obviously they don't have the professionalism of Biff but the Russians and Chinese would like to think their athlete breeding and development programs were very successful thank you very much!

Demonsraum - love that. They could be educated on a diet of 'Mein Demon Kampf', the comprehensive autobiography of Mark Neeld's days at Melbourne.

I think you guys left out the fact that SS was waiting for a hospital ball on the wing with Dipper coming from one side and Dermie from the other - which one of us would not have taken a step back?

I would of stepped back. Going to school with Carl Dietrich in the sixties taught me life-long survival skills.
