Good game Jordan Lewis. Some smart decision making when we needed it.14 points

Brayshaw is such a good centre square player. His ability to kick 45-50 off either foot and one step means his clearances have maximum effectiveness. Also Bayley Fritsch had 26 possessions. Not the best on the ground by any stretch but he's already showing he's not gonna be just a low possession, high impact player. He's better that that.12 points

i Just called up 2012 me and told him we were the number 1 contested ball team in the competition, and we laughed and laughed and laughed.11 points

Did we win? Tick Did we win away from home? Tick Did we win by more than 10 goals? Tick Is every Demon fan acting like a 5 year old on Xmas morning after watching us kick 21 goals? Tick Just got home and I can't wait to watch the replay! DEMONS!!!10 points

This is the same Christian Salem who returned, a week removed from a broken thumb, to have 27 touches, 8 marks, 4 tackles and 2 goals? You're a big something, and it isn't a Demon.9 points

You are almost actively campaigning for this bloke to fail just so you can crow about how you were right. It's little off, OD. The bloke has played in our 3 straight wins and has allowed us to play with greater flexibility with Hogan and T Mac. We can use them deep forward and through the midfield, and we aren't asking T Mac to ruck. Weid may not get a heap of it but his presence in the side has been crucial. I reckon Tyson and ANB (even after a better game) would be looking over their shoulder with Viney about to return.9 points

The guy is such a gun. Didn’t have a massive arieal or forward game and seemed to play half back a lot.... still 26 touches. I’ve loved him since I first saw him at Casey and he’s killing it so far7 points

He didn't have a lot of stats but at half time he had run 7.5km the second most on the ground behind Hogan who also hadn't done much at that point. When players are running and spreading its a good thing. It creates space. And even if they don't get the ball they take a player with them. You don't know what Weid's instructions are. Its possible he is being told to roam up hte ground and take a key player out with him. The fact he keeps getting picked suggests they like the flexibility he offers. And as a backup ruckman he does a pretty good job.6 points

Who needs Gaff when you’ve got Fritzl. Stick him anywhere and he’d do a job. Hope he doesn’t find AFL too easy and sticks around for a while. Draw a line from wing to wing, do not let Tomald cross it. What a gun forward. Hey @DeeSpencer Loved Harmes’ effort. I’m not comfortable when he has it, but I admire his work rate. Playing important minutes. ANB was a lot cleaner, still nowhere near last year’s form. Hogan’s worst game with just the lazy 3 goals. Loved Salem’s game. We should just kick 8 goals a quarter every quarter I reckon.6 points

Weed's game may have appeared irrelevant to you, but I think it's a journey we may all enjoy in a year or two.....be patient grasshopper6 points

Maybe put your own votes up. Or provide some sort of reasoning for why you disagree with his votes. Something actually useful.6 points

I'm out all day so I'll be keeping tabs on my phone. As I can't discuss the game with all you wonderful* people, I'll leave you with these: - A 5 goal win is fine. In fact, ANY win on the road is fine. - Dom Tyson is the best disposer of the football in the AFL and will hit target after target today. - Don't [censored] your pants when Gold Coast kick the first and then refer to the lead up play as 'reminding you of the Mark Neeld days' - ANB should be a long distance runner at the next Olympic Games. - Dees to win... by 5 goals... *Most of you are wonderful...6 points

Difference is, they know we Melbourne supporters can afford Foxtel if we chose to get it, filth supporters... well, they probably steal IQ boxes and try and insert them in their ears.6 points

I live in East Brisbane about 400 metres from the Gabba. It was very windy here yesterday although fine and sunny. Looks pretty much the same today although a tad cooler. Wind at this stage not as strong as yesterday. The Gabba surface should be just about perfect for the game. The Victorian based fans will be easy to spot. They will be the ones in short sleeved shirts with sunscreen on their faces. Us acclimatised and transplanted wannabe banana benders will be wearing jackets! Brrrrrr!6 points

Joeboy tells it like he sees it. Dom T is a turnover merchant. MFC pays him a fortune to kick the ball to the opposition.5 points

Pretty epic final 5 minutes of footy over in Adelaide. I'm not sure to be happy that Adelaide lost or disappointed Port Picked up points to clog up the ladder.5 points

Bit of a banana peel game today. Not sure it will be as easy as some are suggesting. And Clarry may need sunfactor 5005 points

A nice piece about Clarry http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-05-12/star-dees-career-going-swimmingly If we needed reminding how good he is: " Since entering the AFL ...Oliver is ranked seventh in the competition for loose-ball gets, eighth for handballs, ninth for effective handball and 10th for ground-ball gets from 2016-18. ". And: "Oliver has gathered 20 contested possessions in a match six times – one more than Patrick Cripps (five) and ahead of Nat Fyfe and Chris Judd (twice) – in that same 42-game period". He is in good company - would it be too much to think he might win a brownlow in the next few years... And as a forecast of how good he might become: "I'm way fitter than what I was last year..." ? So glad he is a demon and signed up for quite a few more years!5 points

I think we are 2 goals a quarter better. That’s 48 point margin if we play 4 quarters. Line by line we are a much better squad. The only thing that will beat Melbourne today is...Melbourne.4 points

A glaring omission in light of the fact that young Tiernan Stynes made the South Metro Junior Football League Under 13 Boys Interleague squad this year. Definitely worth keeping an eye out for him in years to come.4 points
