On the plus side, that coast to coast play that led to the Langford goal looked realllllly good!

nothing in it; complete accident

wow now lightning and the players are being called off

it's almost like the afl should use a stadium that they own that has a roof to play practice games on

I disagee. The game and rules have changed now and players have to take responsibility for their spoiling attempts.

We’ve seen Maynard banned for a round house spoil.

This wasn’t that bad but it was very agricultural and missed the ball by a fair way. He also chose the right arm where the left would’ve given him a chance of spoiling taking the head.

There also a role for our players in preventing our own injuries. Langford has to stay out or our body between his opponent and Luker. It’s something we’ve been really bad at for a long time.

Tigers players moving around in the rooms during the lightning break. Dee’s players lounging.

At the ground …just had more lightening..pretty sure Luker was out to it & looked high ..was in a bad way coming off ..def limp

Hope Kentfield is just dazed, he looks promising.

We are becoming experts in lightning delays, are we setting some kind of record?

Why can't we have nice things? Best case is a concussion and he's back in a couple weeks. Didn't like the look of the landing though. The limping coming off could have been just wobbly legs from the head knock.

I was so excited to see him get his go.

some days? some days?!??

norm smith curse only lifted when none of us (well, most of us) could go to see us win a premiership!

I remember the last lightning delay West Coast nearly pinched the game

Might as well abandon game if more lightning coming.. ( and it is )

I mean less injuries but we would be cooked against St Kilda with them having three full games behind them.

anyone got vision of the luker injury?

Lightning tracker showing most of the lightning has passed

Wonder if they will let heath come in given it’s just a practice

Kalani. That’s interesting / promising!

One of the worst things to do with glandular fever is to rush back too soon.

Not unusual to rush back then get a set back

Does Kentfield have a history of concussion?

He's missed a little bit of pre season with concussion

Concern for young Demon after sickening knock

Melbourne suffers an early blow as luckless utility Luker Kentfield cops heavy contact to the head before landing awkwardly on his knee

Who was that [censored] grub

This is one thing I really dislike… there was absolutely no malice in what was essentially a footballing accident. Why is it that every time one of our players is injured, it must have been done with intent?

FFS. First Jeffo and now Luker. Fingers crossed it's not serious and it's just a week with concussion.

Looks like tmac will play the 2nd ruck role.

Has a shin guard on.
