Great mark Fritta. Also possibly the best quarter I've ever seen Chandler play.

That Spargo kick 😘.

Curtis is a worry. We haven't got a great match up for him.

Spanked in the middle, spanked on the outside, 6 points in front.

I'll take it.

Christ Langford.  Had to kick that

Would have been a fair kick from Casey 😏

Bloody brave from Fritsch

Soft free to JVR. I’d be fuming the other way

Happened right in front of me. Clear free. Defender knew it straight away and threw his hands up in guilt.

Lucky North didn’t capitalise early in the qtr, Chin, Oliver, Rooter started well.
things changed towards the end of the qtr, we seemed to take the game on more which is lovely to see.

Having Spargo and Salem deliver the ball inside 50 helps. Doesn't happen enough at the MCG.

Two sitters missed in the past three minutes 🤬

Interesting read in the Casey thread about our atrocious kicking for goal there today too.

A couple of people saying that there's no structured goal kicking at as part of training.

Just players having pings at goal in their own time.

A little bewildering if true.

Players with one disposal or less: Turner, Lever, Howes, and Jefferson with zero.

Really missing McVee and Windsor (amongst others of course).

That could have been a catastrophic 3 way injury to Fritta, Jeffo and Roo!

dodged a bullet.

Mistakes, poor pressure and woeful kicking for goal and we still finished the quarter ahead.

Only need a 5% lift and we’ll blow this out of the water.

Rivers, Petracca, Gawn, Langdon all having shocking games. Four elite players who could turn up and give us a huge boost.

JVR misses a chest mark then missed one from 25m?

Terrible. He got a great block from a teammate.

Jefferson is like the baby of Watts and Weideman. Not great.

Looks hurt here, hope he's ok, but honestly subbing him out wouldn't be there worst.

Don't worry Pickett will kiss it better...

Boy I hate Demonland sometimes.

Luckily the umpires are favouring us

Trac one contested touch and terrible kicking

We have plenty of improvement to come!

Just in case anyone forgot why Spargo is in the team and why we’ve missed him and someone like him, that pass into 50 to Langdon (?) is perfect evidence.

Lowers the eyes, skilled, smart.

Nice pass by Salo at the end, too.

Better end to the game hopefully we run off from that. Nice to see Fritter on the board, too.

Let’s go!!! 🔥

Gawn in for a hard days work with Xerri. Becoming a great ruckman and the next generation. Who will win? Love it

What was the reason for the First Quarter being so long, i can only follow scores on here today?

Yes but both take too long to get the ball moving. But agree  position kicks into F50 help
