His Mum has been looking at properties in Melbourne.

I hope she's not a 'farmer'...

mmmm

Interesting

a straight swap ??

Unfortunately the game has moved on and small forwards are the new gold

What else are they offering.... $$$$$

Do it Mfc, bring Dogga back. The perfect player to go alongside, then replace Max. I’d rather him in our side, than draft picks, if Koz goes to Freo. You never know what player you will end up with from a draft pick.

Lol, I can see the Jackson for Pickett swap, and then in about four years when Pickett's kids are a bit older and things more stable and Freo are plunging off the face of the earth, we bring him back as well, in exchange for another homesick young Westralian, and the cycle continues.

So long as Freo are paying the lumpy parts of the contracts and we get the father-son selections, it is hilarious.

Who am I thinking of, Trent Croad, was it?

Never change, Freo, never change.

I would rather The Wiz comeback. He is 10x the player Kozzie is.

I’d rather Kozzie than Jacko any day if the week.

The game completely changed when he came on yesterday and looks primed for a huge year in the middle.

Another feather in Peter Bell’s cap if he can manage this - he might have to throw in Nathan O’Driscoll to even it out though!

Bell would want Kozzie, Rivers and McVee in return for Jackson as his opening gambit!  Oh and throw in Roo'!

Thankfully, Bell left Freo a few years ago who now seem more honest brokers.

p.s. Kelsey Browne 33, Luke Jackson 23.

This is probably not p.c. but...

👏

To both of them.

p.p.s. Kelsey's from Geeeeelong.

Uh-oh...

Mum strikes again

I’d feel much better if LJ came back our way in the event Kozzie was traded.

Much better than 3 pick 18’s over 3 years (after academy/NGA/FS) which is the best Freo will offer.

I couldn't give a stuff if it's true or not. The fact that this is getting some media time is just gravy to me after everything we dealt with that year.

Every news story that comes up about it will be music to the ears. Hope it continues long.

Any chance the MFC created this [censored] as a response to the media hype around Kozzy to Freo? If so, clap-clap. Well played.

Wow. This is exciting news about Dogga!

It’s like a Country & Western song in reverse…may even get our wife and farm back too.

That was my reaction too. Don’t care if it’s true, I’m just enjoying the schadenfreude.

This would be profoundly immature and achieve what exactly?

I would do that trade but would want a top 10 pick as well

We’re clearly a club on the way down and LJ’s a player on the rise.

Not exactly a great match.

lets see how those comments age

I don’t think Freo fans will mind the talk of Jackson leaving if it allows them to get Kossie and Chad Warner.

We need someone to hang Dogga's old jumper over the race when Freo run out at the G in round 6.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
