definitely no mfcss today because, quite frankly, we should be a significantly better side

it would require something very strange happening for us to lose this one

Dees will start well this week.  We seem to do this best when on the road to keep the fans out of it.

Been a reasonably good weekend thus far. Geelong and Carlton both losing. Could have been better had the Ferals lost.

All comes down to late afternoon/ early evening as to whether it ends up being good in its entirety or a mini disaster - GO DEES!🤞

Gulp. An amazing amount of MFCSS is building up in my inner sanctums.

If anything is building up in your inner sanctums for more than a day or two try some more fibre in your diet

I’ve been a bit worried about this game all week for some reason….

greetings from Delhi, sadly the match is not on any of the 500 tv stations here. Really hope  Mcadam has a great game and adds some more X factor to our sometimes impotent forward line

last 3 games at home WC have beaten Freo and Tigers and just lost to the bombers

this won’t be an easy game but we should get it done

When opening this thread was wondering how many posts before “danger game” was thrown up, didn’t get past the first post. Seriously we should destroy the Eagles. Mainly interested to see McAdam play, honestly didn’t know who he was being we picked him up. If he can bring some magic to our fwd line it will obviously make us more dangerous with both him and Kosi down there. Also when Kosi has stints on the ball we will still have some serious X factor in our fwd 50.
If we are going to try anything today let’s try getting separation with our fwds and back them in one on one.

Seriously warm in Delhi in May so nice to stay indoors and "watch" the scores

Don't miss the 50 rupee shave not to mention the 200 rupee deluxe facial

Bit to get done before planting oneself down for the graveyard timeslot game. Won't be an easy one bit will be happy to come out with a win, no margin predicting.

Game day baby. Pumped!

Things I want to see:

1. Fast start

2. % Boost

3. Zero injuries

4. Goals to BBB and Mcadam

Go Dees!

BTW, Dees games at 6.30pm on a Sunday suck major dogs balls.

A professional win with no injuries thanks.

Need to be on the ball early ,dont want a port start today

Sub will either be Salem or Bowser, my money on Salem

I hope they are all sitting in the rooms pre-game watching the 2021 Grand Final at their home away from home

And they come out firing. 6g to 1g in the 1st qtr would be good.

6.20pm Sunday evening is too long to wait for a game.

An interminable wait.

I reckon Woey will get the short stick once more

Carn Dees!  The match starts at 1:20am for me, no way I can miss out on that much beauty sleep, I need all that I can get these days.  I hope to wake up to good news.

The rest of the season is going to suck, so many night games that I'll sleep through.

If we can’t win the first quarter against the Eagles then it doesn’t bode well for the rest of the season. Rome wasn’t built in a day but if the “learnings”  from slow starts cannot be demonstrated this week, when will they start to reveal themselves???

This sounds very philosophical, I’m just not sure what it means though.

Ok folks what time or quarter it will it be before the umpires are at fault or hate us according to demonlanders? I go 5 minutes in the first quarter.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
