I'm mostly concerned with how Robbo's words could bother anyone this much. Robbo comes across as a bloke that has a bottle of shiraz for breakfast every day, why would his subpar analysis surprise anyone?

The only reason he still has a job is because his words spark furious debate like this. Don't get sucked in!

These thing aren't mutually exclusive. Don't denigrate people who prefer whisky with their weetbix. We might still know football.

Is Patrick Cripps no 1 player over Clayton Oliver? According to Robbo in his top 50, Cripps is No 1 L Neale no 2 and Clayton Oliver no 3.

Cripps should never ever have won the Brownlow, and he was third in Contested Ball and Clearances. Clarry was NO 1 IN CONTESTED BALL, AND NO 1 IN CLEARANCES. To me then this should have read, 1 Clayton Oliver, 2 Neale and 3 Cripps.

Oliver is head and shoulders the better of the 3 IMO

I feel your rage but my response to Robbo would be...

Oliver - B anf F in a Premiership year/team.

Case closed in historical terms.   Sadly as someone else on here said,  Cripps will be another Fyfe , missing the ultimate prize, or even a significant finals c.v.

Another thing Oliver has over him.

Credit to Dwayne.  Not a bad effort at the top 10.

May at 7 is a top selection by him.

I got pressured into watching Kojo on Disney plus last night, and i noticed that rival dog Balto got all the credit for an act of heroism when actually Kojo was the rightful hero dog. I don't think either dog really cared either way. But i do think Disney Plus is slightly over-rated.

putting all bias aside, which is nearly impossible for a 'lander (me included)

the reality is there is not much between all three and it is quite subjective as to who is numero uno

having said that, clarrie gets my vote.....👍 💖

if you check the alternative fan selection on that article Clarrie is #1

The word 'bias' according to the Cambodge English Dictionary means: "the action of supporting or opposing a particular person or thing in an unfair way, because of allowing personal opinions to influence your judgment."

A person who holds or forwards such an opinion is 'biased'. This is not about Clarry - he is the greatest footballer to have ever graced a field in a billion years - it's about this creeping use of people saying that they are or may be 'bias'.

@Demonstone: you've been slacking off on policing this one.

Sorry, I should have said ‘biased’, not ‘bias’.

I understand your frustration. It’s like reading ‘I think it’s really f*#k annoying when people go on about spelling’. When clearly it’s meant to read ‘I think it’s really f*cking annoying…’

Sincerest apologies. 🤣

Being fair to Cripps, he is basically Christian Petracca's abilities with Nathan Jones career story, plus injury.

Let him enjoy his moment and then watch as Oliver continues to be the best midfielder in the AFL for another 200 games.

I like robbo, he's passionate about the game and clearly loves football.

But twice a year he releases his top 50 and reminds us that he's a dumb [censored]

I like Robb and reckon he could spin a good yarn, as long as the story isn't too complex and no more than a couple of paragraphs long.

Another social media take designed for clicks and outrage, i know our forwardline a little iffy but surely we should be a bit higher.

How can you not have J Cameron in your top 3?  If you select either Neale or Cameron in your team, who would you choose?

not hard is it

I had Cripps falling just short of the Brownlow, he had a good season but some big club bias might have helped him a bit. Still a worthy winner though.

Shai Bolton has to be the most overrated player I’ve seen in a long time.
Dines out on goal and mark of the week.
Goes missing more than kids in the 80s.

Agree 100% and not only that has missed goals from less than 20m out on the run with no-one in front of him on multiple occasions.
