Can Goody rev us up?

worst display of kicking I’ve seen in years

zero intensity

And zero creativity. We look scared to take the game on

Hard to blame the forward line as a collective when 1) Fritsch burns 4 teammates and decides to shoot for goal instead of hitting up a teammate for an easy goal; 2) Melksham completely shanks a kick to Pickett who would have run in to an open goal.

We've looked far better on Langdon's wing and if wasn't for the above and our poor shots at goal we'd have put 4-5 on the board.

Wow that lacked intensity and skill. Every time we kick inside 50, we are lucky to have 1 player moving, let alone anyone leading. We have a huge problem if our only leading forward is Gawn. And  talk about static. Where has our run gone?

Almost everything from the Dees seems half hearted.

And, yet again, no tall as the sub.  We will get screwed.

At least a tall as medi sub

Their part time ruckman Dixon has more hit outs than our three ruckmen. Sheesh.

Sub is a small when we went small anyway.

Weid obviously is not wanted by us.

Petracca's half effort cost us a goal. Why are we lacking so much confidence in our forward half. Better off attacking the goal. How many times do miss gettable shots on goal with no wind at the ground. Our kicking has gone backwards this season. ?lIt is so bloody frustrating. We need a forward in this team. Why didn't we pick JvR this round. Perfect opportunity to debut.

This game has Cairns vibes about it. No fluency, ball movement laboured and players looking lost for answers. I don't where the spark is going to come from.

Port aren't much chop either so won't take much to beat them. Who will stand up for us? Maybe Viney can grab the game by the scruff of the neck and lead by example

It would be downright embarrassing to get beaten by this mob.

This game is screaming out for Trac to show why he’s top tier.

Kozzie in the bounce!!

1st quarter

🤬pathetic. Zero goals. Slow and wide and wide and wide. Not daring. No overlap running.  Go wide and wide.
🤬missed opportunities.  Fritsch. Pickett. Jackson.
🤡BBB and Bedford.

Lever back on.

Kozzie into the middle

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
