Great win by the suns. I love it.

Great for the club. I hope they go on to make finals.

Gold Coast are a real footy club now

I was cheering like a bloody supporter!

Well done Suns!

Gold Coast Suns should be ashamed of themselves. Big Richmond injuries, a must win game to stay in touch and they dish up this tripe. Good thing they re-appointed Fat Boy Slim instead of Clarkson.

Posts that age well.

Pity the $un$ didn’t win last week, they would be right in the mix for finals…

Now dockers to beat saints please to increase our final 8 buffer.

Freo are a top 4 rival so I'd prefer if they lose

Saints to beat Dockers for top 4 spot you mean!!!!

Tiges gonna need to win 4 of 6 just to possibly fall into the eight with Freo and Brisbane to play yet, albeit both at the G.

That was a great final term to watch. Well done to the suns and it was smart footy to pass that ball to Anderson because that player wouldn't have been able to play on from the boundary. It was great composure by Noah to.

Dam it would have been a  great day if the pies went down to.

This is where supporter culture comes from. Without pain there's no pleasure.
Imagine if you were a supporter and had to put up with the rubbish they've provided over their existence. If they make the finals in 2022 you'd be ecstatic. More importantly, many more potential fans will come on board if they're up the top for a few years.

Fair weather? Yes, but some will stick. But you have to lose and lose  and lose and still be a fan, to be a real fan.

Tigers up by 40pts us against the Suns. Biggest choke of the season!

simply wonderful

I like your work on Wednesday's 360 Mr Montagna, but I think you might be a little off the mark on us potentially missing the 8

Geez they’re fired up! The Guinness tap is taking some hammer!

The Irish just beat the Kiwis in New Zealand. Leave the pub immediately to secure safety. [censored] about to kick off!

Is it childish of me to take pleasure in Richmond's loss? I must admit to having a quick look at PRE

No matter who beats who or loses for that matter, there will be a top 4, the positions are not vacant at the end of home and away, er...

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

  • GAMEDAY: Essendon

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
