De Goey is the New Story

The problem is Jordan everywhere you go something happens.

Couldn't care where you go but make sure it doesn't end up on Instagram.

Also didn't he put a alcohol ban on himself. Temptation gets the better of him

Definitely different histories but in this specific instance, he hasn't done much wrong

Other than the way he acts and treats women, seems to be a pretty ordinary person

He’s not the Lone Ranger

Correct he is not alone but he has multiple form over years. Whatever brain capacity he has seems to disappear after a drink or two.

Murder on the Dance Floor on so many levels.

To be fair, at least this time he wasn’t wearing a bathrobe.

I dunno about that, kemo sabe.  He would be sitting on a fair bit of Silver.

Why is it that I think he will already have blown most of it?

I can't understand why this is a story...

The perpetually offended are at it again, and media are fueling the fire 🔥

Yeh, how dare people be offended by misogyny and representations of objectification of women.

I mean, are you serious? This guy has had a past history of charges against him for sexual abuse, harassment, etc, are you trying to say you have no problem with that?

Correct.

One would think that meathead may consider "line of fire" prior to entering an area that has previously proven to be dangerous.

Considering requires a functioning adult brain, so not applicable here.

He does not appear to have broken any laws so probably nothing for the AFL to look at, though surely his bargaining position would be lowered considerably come contract time.

There is no law against being a complete and utter bogan though.

This isn't a 'non-story'.

The story isn't footballer gets drunk while at a nightclub on holidays.

The story is sexual assault.  Clearly there was no consent.

On another day or another girl he is up for sexual assault and this time their is video evidence.

It isn't the first time he has been charged with sexual assault - he has got off the previous times.

There are plenty of Jordy types out there.

Think of this from the view of your daughters, sisters, nieces etc and this behaviour should be condemned.   And perhaps help educate the young men in your lives on what is consent.

His conduct reminds me of those trashy tough-guy types who would be in a punch up every week.

I wonder if he is simply way too loose and over confident to ever make something of himself once his time in the game is over.

Even my straight ex liked looking at other hot women.
Weren’t those NY charges dismissed once the full story came out?

Convicted of not tipping enough or misdemeanour?

Girl in the vid has  no issue.

Still think he’s a DH*

*secretly wish I could bust open a game at packed G

So now you think he should be judged on his past record. Hope your not planning a career in the law.

Are you cranky because your prospective employers keep googling your name and rejecting your applcation because of your past record?

  • NON-MFC: Round 02

The compromised AFL fixture will get another test this week with the first lot of teams getting a bye after only two matches. Despite this Round 2 starts off with two cracking games as the Hawks host the Swans at the G on Thursday Night and then on Friday Night the Crows host the Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Sunday’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.

  • POSTGAME: St. Kilda

Never in doubt!!! In Steven King’s first game at the helm of the Melbourne Football Club, the Dees outlasted Saints in a wild, momentum-swinging thriller at the MCG, running out 13-point winners.
