Yeah im into day 5 after getting it after having to stay home all of last week due to close contact. So that makes it day 12 for me🤯

    We've had 12 more inside 50s and 8 more scoring shots yet we are losing.

    Game is far from over but we are currently getting what we deserve. 

    12 easy misses is bloody unforgiveable.

    Hopefull this gives us a bit of a wake-up.

    We've played terrible, the tigers don't have much and we are only 3 down 

    It’s extraordinary that they’re in front considering our dominance.

    That patch of play for the first 15 mins of quarter is where we would normally kick 5-8 goals and break the game like 3rd quarter last week. Will have to win this hard way now

    Mark Williams will be absolutely fuming. We’ve done everything right except kicking goals. 

    Goodwin can put the greatest gameplan in place but if your forwards are failing at the fundamentals what can you do. 

     

    Woeful kicking. We are now in our own heads and they completed deflated us. A real shame as we are dominating but making an absolute meal of it inside 50. 

    [censored] we went into cruise control mid way through that quarter. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

      One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
