what the one he got when the guy wrapped an arm around his neck in the tackle?

Come on mate, take off the blue and red glasses, there was a “little lean” into that.

What. Langers hasn't spent a second on the bench all year. Freak. Is he even human?

I've heard they have trouble getting him off the ground for the half time break.

Rd 1 2013 they killed us and set us up for a horror season resulting in the sacking of our coach.

It's about time we returned the favour.

Sorry if already covered, but can someone explain that 50m to Langdon for me?

I get the free for holding, but why the 50?

If the dogs can get 30 plus frees each week by gaming the system then I’m happy to get a couple as well 😂

Can;t believe how bad Port are. I know they are depleted but no fight or spirit shown at all. Surely they'll give a yelp in the second half. If not then Ken will be in serious strife

They're trying.
Just can't beat the whole ground defence.
We're choking them to death.
The Demons are Jiu Jitzu blackbelts.

I reckon Hinkley would give his left nut for a 2nd ruck right about now. Main thing I want to see is our mids setting up better on our Ruck advantage. Max should be smashing it 40 m like Fitzpatrick from now on. And can Viney and Picket keep smashing Lycett's shoulder. Port have been late with their hits repeatedly.

port did well to hold us up forward of the ball

Sparg and Picket have been good with the pressure tonight

would like to see better ball movement in the forward line, they have worked Weid out of the game

track being tagged again?

Gawn has been great around the ground so far

out of all the non vic teams, LOVE keeping this mob goalless to half time

lets tear them a new one in the second half

I will go into my personal debt for the rest of my life if it means keeping Jackson just one more season. Arguably a Top 20 player in the league already (but needs more exposed form).

And to think there were some fools out there who wanted us to draft Hayden Young! Egg all over your face. PS. Don't look back through my post history in 2019.

Haha. Yes I believe I was in the Hayden Young camp also. That super kick in his highlights package sucked me in.

Max is back!

Jordon great.

Fritta classy.

May great one on one.

Jacko duking them.

Would love to see Kozzy get on the end of a couple.

Even so, Weightman doesn’t do what Spargs just did and is hammered in here…. But of balance lad.

The. Commentator mentioned  the give and receive or the ol soccer one-two. But I never knew that was actually a rule.

Ugh Max's goal kicking still frustrates me.

At least we opened up the game but we have to continue on with it and really thrash Port. They will come out with nothing to lose and will probably play more freer.

I haven't minded McDonalds game, everytime he goes for goal I have full confidence he will kick it.

I don't know if it's because we have been spoilt by Farmer and Davey over the years but I just want Pickett to do something.

When a player disposes of the ball to a teammate and try’s to run to link up the next play but is impeded by the opposition player it’s a free plus 50 metre penalty.

They are too busy minding the likes of Tracc & Clarry in that first half to get enough of the pill themselves and get any  momentum.....so far anyway!

Big Max is being mauled in the ruck and around the ground....as usual.  And of course zero protection but always called for blocking at the slightest hint.

Lycett constantly wrapping left arm around Max and over the shoulder on a couple of occasions.

The player just in front of their last guy who marked before the siren..... cannons in to Max's neck/head with no eyes/intention of going for the mark....zero protection/favours.

Need to put the foot on their neck this quarter.

Viney's had a very good half along with Jordan, May, Lingers, Nibbler & Gus (no doubt a few others ive left out).  I like Harmes's gut running and willingness to close up on multiple opponents to pressure when we don't have possession.   Gus, Bowey & Hunt also here.

Tracc started to find some space in the latter half of the second.  Whoever his young opponent is, he's about to find out how hard he is to stop (if Port leave him on Tracc that is)

P.S. who put the hand in to cause that turnover on our half of the square that quarter (thinking Sparrow, Nibbler or Harmes).
