What would you do for the club if we won the flag?

I will travel to the grave site of my life long friend and MFC/MCC member for over 50 years, who passed away 2 years ago, and have a few crownies (his favourite) with him.

ive always wanted the MFC lettering (like the blues logo idk how to descibe it properly) tatted on my left pec but that plan has been bedded by a mixture of wanting something more artsy and filling and also a furry layer which will obscure the view of such a magical memory. so im thinking the shoulder blade might get a full piece. can't yet picture in my head what thatll look like yet tho

I've already discussed with a friend whose partner is a tattooist to get my ink ready. I've even got a design picked out.

A tattoo would probably be in order. Total cleanskin here but I think this would have to happen. Design would have to be just right obviously.

I probably would make a donation as well. Definitely load up on Merch. In my 20s I always said if it happened i wouldnt be seen for a week but these days I'd probably just take the Mon off!

It’s nothing groundbreaking. Just our 80’s shield logo with hopefully the final score and venue.

What I'll do as a teacher is hunt down every Collingwood, Carlton and Essendon supporting student and force them to change allegiances to the dees so that we can add another 700 members to the tally next year. ( under the threat of permanent detentions)

All the memorabilia, caps, t-shirts, posters, framed pics, DVDs etc

I told my wife years ago if Melbourne ever won a flag I'd have the DVD playing on repeat in one room. She's a Geelong supporter so hopefully it's not against them or it could get a bit awkward 😂

Disobey stay at home orders and run nude down the street

Lol I used to do nudey runs as loss bets, but have now accepted at my age no-one wants to see it.

Used to be punished by wearing someone’s dirty socks but COVID has stopped that.

Just pledged to put my hair in sailor moon buns for a week if we win (boss will be furious I’m sure.)

Which of course doesn't answer the question and offers nothing for the club.

I wouldn't say that Stevie

If you run the entire neighbourhood block with your partner filming the subsequent  arrest and she posts it on social media..... it might have a big impact

Thanks SW.  Those last three are absolute rippers.

The third last Weg one....i seem to recall was some sort of limited run collectors cards through The Sun or something?  They were very thin/flimsy ones from what i recall.

Probably my all time fav.

Does anyone remember where that came from?  Seem to recall he also did some cricket versions in that style?

I know the club is doing their best for fans in this horrible year but I had to smile when I received the latest email from the GM stating they would organising an event at the G for fans at some point. The kicker was gathering regulation laws providing.

That May mean we get to celebrate the 21/22 flags at the same time.

I'll go on some sort of tirade on social media calling supporters of opposition teams every name in the book. and then probably head to bitters basement, as per the usual end of season arrangement.

My family are receiving so much support from our extended family and friends it is unreal and we are so grateful given that we are in lockdown. If we win, it will be Tatts all around and re-new our premier memberships for 2022.
This is so much more exciting than 2000 now that we are the legitimate favourites.❤️💙❤️💙.

The COVID-19 lockdown has been tough here in Melbourne. I am sure we are all well and truly sick of it.

I am hopeful there will be some semblance of normality next year? Fingers crossed.

Anyway, I will definitely make sure I get a MFC Redlegs membership with reserved seating for me and my Dad next year. That way if the Demons are fortunate enough to make the Grand Final again, but this time at the MCG, I can take my Dad to the Grand Final. My Dad is 72 and I want to make sure I share a few more special memories together while we still can.

Whatever happens I feel sorry for your maid; there is no GF result that is a good outcome for her.

Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres
