In terms of the finals race, us winning tomorrow opens up the Eagles to the chasing pack. HQ would love 6 teams to be fighting for 2 spots than 5 fighting for one. The top 4 being separated by half a game and the Round 23 fixture just adds to it.

It's a huge loss for them. After today's game he had 48 goals to his name. You can't replace quality overnight.

They'll have to reshuffle their forward line. Whether that's bringing Sweet in to ruck, and then throw English forward.

Bruce out now mean Marra gets 2nd best defender. Huge task coming up to finals..

I feel very sorry for Josh Bruce. Siren goes 2 seconds earlier and he’s about to play finals and in the hunt for a Coleman. For a much maligned player he’s had a great year.

Those losses to teams outside the 8 are really starting to haunt us.
