Here's my favorite's from their changes thread lol

  • who gives a sh*t.
  • Can no we also get rid of that big fat bloke in charge of recruiting? Number 1 heโ€™s crap. Number 2 fat = lazy, it sets a bad culture
  • Out: Adam Simpson, Midfield.
In: Inanimate Carbon Rod, Witches hats.
  • Seriously, who cares? The players donโ€™t so why should we.
    We are lost.
  • Out: Darling, OA, Gaff, Sheed
In: Blue Wiggle, Baby giraffe, Dicky Knee, inanimate carbon rod.
  • I look forward to another 3 x possession Vardy special, again. To add to his overflowing 3 possession trophy cabinet.
  • Out - me
  • I wish Simmo was my weed dealer when I was broke in high school - the amount of tic I could have built up...
  • I can only imagine the gigantic erection Gary Lyon gets every time he thinks about the demolition job the Dees are going to perform on us.
Surely they have him on the comms somewhere to really stick it to us. Jordy Lewis too, I'm sure he'll enjoy it after starting the rot in the '18 prelim.
  • Out me.
In cleaning gutters, weeding garden, washing car, sex with wife on footy day.
  • Seriously who the f**k cares anymore
The players don't so why the f**k should we ??
  • Only change I want to see is west play a full four in the midfield.
Pathetic campaigners again showing their lack of body work and intent
  • No change, they all absolutely deserve the punsihment in front of a crowd.
    There can be no hiding.
  • It's going to be a massacre next week, Dees are towelling up the Suns as we speak. Honestly time to just put Edwards, Trew and Johnson in as well give kids a crack see if they show something at AFL level.
  • This no second Ruckman business is such a massive problem for us and I don't think the club has realised that until now. Seeing Gawn and Jackson tear it up for Melbourne today gives me the chills thinking about next week

I hope the players are as despondent as their supporters.ย

ย

Back on their own dung heap they will be a much tougher opponent

If we are not 100% on from the beginning it could be a disappointing result

Odds for them at $3 look like overs to meย ย

The Eagles are the ultimate home town heroes.

It will take our absolute best to win this game.

Just for perspective . . . 33 years for four premierships.ย

Think we won 10 between 38 and 64 or similar

If we are a serious top 4 side we should account for them easily. They are not even a top 8 side but then again we got done by the crows and the filth so toss your coins in the air.

Thinking about the Eagles copping theย full brunt of an Optus Stadium booing should be extra motivation for our boys to do a proper job on them.ย  Would be a real highlight of our season if we could make that happen.

In the early nineties I recorded a match between Eagles and Dees in Perth.

I was surprised to see a woman in the front row breast feeding an infant. Talk about motherโ€™s milk.

Theyโ€™re serious about their football.

I saw that. Pretty sure it wasnt was an infant?

Adding the โ€˜Phโ€™ to Fat and the dollar sign to Scully makes him sound less like a recruiter and more like a gangster rapper! ?

They've won 2 of their last 5 home games, including to North.

They are cooked. Good teams smack them - average make them seem a threat - crap teams are theirย points.ย

Loathe the supporters, I will be going nuts and mostย likely drunk with a fair chance of a sickie Tuesday.

i get the sentiment as theyโ€™re below us and coming off a bad loss.ย but since when is playing the Eagles in Perth a โ€œ danger gameโ€? ย they lift in front of their crowd and the eagles this season, at their best at home,ย can match itย and moreย ย w anyone. coming off such a publicised crappy loss iโ€™m thinking a win fr us will be a big achievement. iโ€™d more label this gameย ย a big ladder shaping contest , critical fr both sides and on a par with the geelong game round 23.ย

They lost to North at home a few weeks ago and Essendon a month or so before that. Geelong and Swans both absolutely belted them this year. Not to mention Collingwood last week. We generally play well in Perth in recent years besides the 2018 PF. I'll be pretty surprised and very annoyed if we drop this one.

The booooo brigade will bring them another win. ย Eagles always play better in front of their boo crowd. ย

Back when there was 6-8 teams and you could (in the early early days) have the right to challenge a GF winner to a rematch if you lost as the reigning premiere.

There was also a little thing called WW2 in the midst of that!

Same here. I actually met a bloke on a contiki tour 6 years back who is first cousins with one of the 2018 GF players.

He is actually incredibly level headed and gets good mail! He said that in the 2018 prelim, we looked scared and that certain members of our midfield wouldn't shut up and kept chirping the entire time.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
