POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Brisbane

What a bloody fantastic win. Gone for all money at half time and just worked them over in the second half. Best win in a long time.

HELL YEAH!

We switched on the afterburners and got the job done against serious opposition.

And the best thing is (I think) that there were a handful of players who never got in the game.

We are capable of so much more. IT'S SCARY.

So, have we beaten anyone yet?

Grand … old …. high flying!!!

What a statement!

What a team!
Next challenger please .
Bloody brilliant.

Best win of the season. We don’t run, we lose. We run, we win.

Just now, FarNorthernD said:

Charlie Spargo is very good

And that’s the understatement of the year.

IS THERE NO ONE ELSE !!!?

Maxy immense in the 2nd half. Petracca, Oliver back to their best in the 2nd half

Special mentions to Koz and Spargo, brilliant 2nd halves

Is Burgo the best recruit in Melbourne history?

The greatest thing about this year is we can get completely outplayed and still never be out of it. This is bloody exciting to be a part of

I'm loving this team and loving this season.

Best win of the year for mine. To steamroll them like that in the second half. Incredibly impressive.

That’s the win that gets the last doubters on board. If you don’t believe now you never will.

Looks like a lot of Melbourne fans escaped the lockdown. Good crowd there. LOL.

We tipped that game on its head!

they [censored] themselves!

God I love this team so much!!

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
