I'd have to say he looks a long way from being fired up in that pic.

Come on son.  Be fired with enthusiasm or you'll be fired ... with enthusiasm.:D

Look at the previous one and Daniels highlights

Looks very nervous in the last photo so it's silly to firm an opinion on a photo how a player will go!!

^^

Last two posters seem. to be looking already for a new whipping boy.

His highlight package shows that he can mark and kick at a high level. He’s played against men already in a pretty serious competition.

I look at that photo and just wonder what an AFL training regime will do for his body. I see upside.

Welcome Daniel good luck and hopefully you can forge a successful AFL career with the Dees

On the contrary, has the look of someone who means business.

So right Chook that's what we want he will be smiling very soon as he adjusts to a huge opportunity of his lifelong dream.

So, he's moved into the Brayshaw family home, along with Rivers & jackson.  Just how big is the Brayshaw mansion??

If you get picked up by the mighty Dees you know you are more than a fair chance to make it.  Jason Taylor and the team have been doing a great job of late. We have seen the proof on the field and our depth.

All topped off with some 1st Class development.

Good old  'Sweethearts' pizza joint. That place is always packed after all the army lads have had their drinking sesh at the 'Bended Elbow'. Fun times indeed!

Used to be able to hire a pair of shiny shoes at sweethearts in order to be allowed into the nightclub across the road back in the days before we hash tagged our wingmen.

He is off to a great start staying with the Brayshaw family, LJ and TR absolutely surrounded by great people. He can take a good overhead mark and hit a target he could be another inspired selection by JT.
Grab your opportunity with both hands young man you are now part of the Demon family.

Played his first game of VFL yesterday and I wasn't one bit surprised that he actually played very well.

He adjusted straight away and didn't look one bit overawed. Playing against senior hard men in the Ovens and Murray league has certainly helped his adjustment.

The club just want him to play a good block of consistent games in the VFL just to get up to speed with pace and structure. While senior games aren't probably in the picture, the club has certainly told him that if he is in good form and a spot opens up then he'll be seriously considered. For now it's all about developing his game for the long term future.

Well done Disco!

A very nice debut.  Some work needed on the mullet though before he becomes the real deal... a great example for ya here son ☝

Hard to believe he's only 19. Looks like he has a fully developed mature body already and has great game and aerial judgement. Only knock I can see at this stage is possibly a lack of pace but it's obviously a very small sample at this point. Looked right at home immediately. Other than pace he looks a more complete footballing package than Smith.

Very solid debut, handled the step up in intensity and looks a natural at reading the play.

One piece of play impressed me a lot where he actually stuffed up, got caught trying to play on but then dished a long safe handball back to a team mate.

Anything he does this year is a bonus but I like that our draft class is now at 4 and has a tall to go with the 2 skilled users and the outside runner.

I didn’t notice any pace issues, but thought he looked very comfortable at the level. Like jordon, petty, sparrow - a clear and consistent development strategy could result in a good AFL level player in a year or two

I'm already a fan! Like this kid a lot.

Looked a great size and composed. Has a great opportunity to learn off May and Lever to give himself the best chance at making it.

Magnificent example (but I am talking about footballing skills). Yeata was one of the best ...

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
