With all due respect, not a chance. More off field issues and well past his best with age and body working against him.

@Nascenthe played 9 games and averaged 16 disposals per games, definitely players on our list that wouldn't contribute as much as that in a game.

Was a brilliant player for the Saints. Not sure we need him if we want Sparrow and others to come on.

At only 30 perhaps too young for the Cats?

And played most of the season overweight, broke down with soft tissue injuries and cats are trying to get rid of him after only one year. He's a shadow of the player he once was, wouldn't touch him.

NO

Hard pass.

Ha!  just saw the announcement and was waiting for this thread.

N-O spells No!

No way.  In it only for the money now and clearly the Cats have realised that.

Just saw this on the AFL Website. Is Jack Steven worth a look if he were to leave the Old Folks home?

Hard pass. Would prefer to bring Dean Turlich out of retirement than bother with a broken Jack Steven.

Just suggesting we look at Steven should result in a lifetime ban.

Alright, let's analyse this sensibly. He was quite good at St Kilda. Not so good at Geelong. He's got attitude and injury issues and he's 30 years old. In a good environment he could become a decent player. Sounds like a good fit for the deees.

It's yes from me !!

When Hell freezes over maybe

Should we take a stab at him?

Just to suggest it, proves you know nothing about football

Edited by don't make me angry

If we grab him reckon we're a Top 4 chance. He's not afraid to get in amongst it. After all, he has experience at the sharp end of things...

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
