I just [censored] knew we would come out and smash them ?

The goal umpire did not have to move a muscle for that one.

Straight as an arrow from Kossy.

I hope wwe get to watch 10 years of this bloke in a Demons jumper.

Work rate is just fantastic.

Harley adds such class. Kudos to the recruitment and medical teams!

To have them lift considerably and kick the first two, but for us to end the quarter 42 in front, is a sign that IMO is just as important as the second quarter.

We want our leaders to lead. Gawn, May and Lever have all been strong today, and it's showing.

Damn straight Kossie.....The Wiz is back

Weideman has been good

He’s been excellent.

Those who are out of this side will find it tough to come back in. Gelling nicely.

Good sides steady when challenged

That touch of class when needed.  A joy to watch

I'm very proud about the quarter from our boys. Challenged early but didn't go to water and kept trying to take the game on. Finally some chances came out way and way took them. Great Demons football.

I’m not one to get carried away but Weed and Jackson will be better than Roughy and Buddy

Hell of a call early but the more they play the better they will get.

1st half of the 3rd terrible, they had to respond, 2nd half of 3rd much much better, the connection is just so beautiful to watch.

We should be targeting 5-6 goals this quarter and make it a 10 goal victory.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
