Can we just forfeit?

Literally nothing to play for, win or lose our finishing position is the same.

I’m just hoping we don’t get more injuries!

An article in today's Age on the North Melbourne win and Brown's bag of goals states " North's final round opposition comes in the form of pitiful Melbourne. The medal is Brown's to lose"

I just hope we pick a side that is passionate enough to show some fight and pride and provide some glimmer of hope for we long suffering supporters.

Blood oath but I'm afraid they have curled their toes up. That Sydney effort was, the very least park standard. Lets just get into 2020 as quickly as possible with some hope and forget 2019.

Given how the season's gone, I'm predicting Gawn gets up and then does the same hammy injury he did in 2017, thus ruining his preseason.  I think put the big guy on ice and give Preuss a chance against his old mob. As for other changes, I'm beyond caring.

Had a look back to see when we last played them.

Goals - Bugg 4, Kent and Garlett 3 each. There really is no one left to kick a sausage, bring Hunt back in perhaps.

100% agree. Anyone with ACL risk you’d leave out.

Id not play Max. He said yesterday on radio he hurt his hammy and felt it tighten. No point putting him out there and him doing it off the bone or him hurting it in the first few minutes and not having a ruckman against goldy for the game. Put him away. Don't deflate the guy anymore. He has tried his butt off for us this year. He can hold his head up high.

Hibberd Frost Hore

Salem Lever Lewis

Stretch Viney Brayshaw

Petracca Petty Fritsch

Chandler Preuss Melksham

Gawn Oliver Harmes

Dunkley Wagner njones Lockhart

emerg. Jkh Hunt Baker

ins Preuss Lockhart Petty

outs. Anb Spargo Jkh

Presumably O'Mac and Petty come back in for ... whoever. We need some height, and they're the only ones left standing. One goes forward, one goes back, take your pick.

Preuss ... maybe, he's been so underwhelming. Depends on Max.

They will play him. He will tear his hammy and do his knee. And with that will end the worst season in recent history.

Sadly I booked my trip down there some time back and have to sit through what I am confident will be as one-sided game as possible, partly because our coach will again select nine guys under 6 feet (182cm) and express surprise that his midfield can't spot up anyone.

But in case he heeds some semblance of sense that was clearly lacking last week, he must realise that North are a very physical side that lacks polish.

They will gobble up our minnows and spit them out. So please find room for whatever bigs we have left and that means the following.

In:

Preuss - Gawn will be out anyway, but it gives him a shot at Goldy.

Keilty - Yes I know he's out of form in the VFL, but we need a big body and it can be his send-off game. And play him down back, so he can help on Ben 10.

Petty - If he's fit, he's in.

Josh Wagner - God knows how he didn't get in last week when five midgets made it before him. And given he's been playing as a mid in VFL, then it's time we tried him there for us.

Hunt - Unbelievable non-selection last week in favour of who again - Chandler, ANB and Spargo? Yeah right.

Out:

Gawn (injured)

Chandler, Spargo, JKH - yes all three are 173cm and yes they are way too small and it's just blatant cruelty to play them in Hobart.

Dunkley - Has a bit of talent but no need for him to be butchered yet. A big pre-season awaits.

Note: Billy and ANB stay in because even if they may have their cards stamped, they run and make space.

Please, please change it up in middle and start Oliver and Harmes on wing.

Let others have a final shot negating Cunnington, Ziebell and Higgins, including the Wags brothers and use Trac in burst on the ball more.

B: Salem Keilty Hibberd

HB: Jones Lever Hore

C Oliver J.Wagner Harmes

HF: ANB Petty Fritsch

F: Viney Frost Melksham

Ru: Preuss Brayshaw (tag Higgins) Lewis (have Jordy tag Cunnington)

INT: Stretch, C.Wagner, Hunt, Petracca

How depressing it all is.

Out: apathy, dumb footy, half efforts etc.

In: some freaking PRIDE

Rest Max if there is even the remotest chance his hammy is suspect.

As for the rest I really don't care after last week.

There are some good things to do around Hobart that don't include bluntstone arena. Forget the game and do some of the other things and get some value for your money.

Looking forward to commencing another 11 year drought against a perpetually middle of the road mediocre side.

Suspect they will risk Max as the head coach looks desperate, concerned, out of ideas and a 100 point belting will leave a massive cloud hovering over him over the summer.

In - Petty, O Mac, Lockhardt, J Wagner, Hunt

Out - Dunkley, JFK, Chandler, C Wagner, Spargo

ANB survives because he kicked 20% of our goals last week, but we need to moving players like him, Kennedy-Harris and Stretch on.

You have my vote LT.

For those that are going to Blundstone, prepare for 25 minute waiting time for a beer or pie and 15 minute waiting times to take a leak. I shudder to think of the waiting time for the ladies...

A disgrace of an AFL venue.

less time watching the game at least
