this is a team with no structure, no intent, and zero leadership.

I don’t understand how we’re not learning any lessons with all our players being drawn to the ball and the opposition getting the spares on the outside. It keeps happening.

Why is it Dwayne Russell every week? He hates us.

2 gettable goals given up now... Jeffy being Mr Selfish and Lockhart could have steadied

Jeffys last game based on that quarters decision making.

You forgot skills ..

Why can't we execute basic footy skills ever...

Multiple Hawks get away with dropping or throwing the ball and we got pinged for a dubious to high in our fwd line. Almost goal.

I think I say it every week how the hell an AFL player can still try to take a chest mark is beyond me, extend your arms, there is a rule where a player can’t chop your arms (never applied now a days) and you can’t be spoiled!!

Hawks stroll into space. I am just utterly in shock at how bad they are.

Confidence shot, skills nowhere. If you can't get simple 2 metre handballs to reach their target ...

We are just horrible.

We have no confidence and don’t trust each other.

Garlett u r done at this club. That was unforgivable not to pass it to TMac which would have been a definite goal.

Terrible skill level.

No leadership.

What has happened to Tom McDonald and Fritsch?! Neither are even VFL standard at present. Staggering drop in form.

Our inability to string a few possessions together under any sort of pressure is embarrassing.

Week after week our inability to man up with the oppo has the ball should see Goodwin sacked for that alone. Totally useless. PLayers thnk they can guard grass and the Dorks just waltz through unimpeded.

Hawks will pull away to a 10 goal lead then put the cue in the rack to stay fresh and uninjured. We will still madly run around like ants whose nest has been disturbed, and to the same effect.

in shock? we've been awful for 2 months

Our setup at ball ups or throw in is disgraceful.

They have  2-3 unmanned behind the pack and every clearance goes to one of them and then run the ground.

Bloody man them up or go Coach under 7’s. Pathetic.

2 goals against us directly from players handballing to above the target's head. Professional athletes and they cant do the basics. Skills are appalling.

This is a team with no confidence - either in themselves or their teammates. Survival mode kicks in, as does the "I've got to do something" mentality, and then it's all down hill.

Sunday’s schedule kicks off with the Suns aiming to bounce back from their shock defeat to Richmond, taking on the out of form Swans. Then the Blues will be out to claim a major scalp when they battle the Cats at the MCG. • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

  • PREGAME: Richmond

The Dees are back at the MCG on Thursday for the annual blockbuster ANZAC Eve game against the Tigers. Can the Demons win back to back games for the first time since Rounds 17 & 18 last season? Who comes in and who goes out?
