I’ll be having the Qantas app open and my finger hovering over the ‘book flight’ button the whole match.

Call the handbrake to apologise to her that I’ll be home late and best you sleep in the spare room.

......... richer in every way, except of course for our bank balance, which will be considerably 'lighter' after forking out several grand for GF tickets, airfares to and from Melbourne, and accommodation for the week so we can attend training, the GF Parade and the after-party.  Who cares about money when there are far more important considerations?

Feel some redemption for the tears I had as a 12 year old watching from home as the demons got smashed at the WACA back in the ‘94 prelim. My first demon premiership dream as a kid in tatters, we were riding a similar wave back then and a team with talent to boot, but came up against a juggernaut with players that looked unnaturally stronger and bigger then ours, over in the bright WA sunshine, with all their supporters wearing those disgusting fake blue and yellow scarfs, their stupid early 90s Eagles baseball caps and bolle sunglasses and their coach , can’t recall his name, and arrogant looking man with a silver bushy moustache .

Since then I’ve always hated West Coast

Come on people, you would go nuts! We are against the odds here ... WCE are primed to beat us, if we happen to win it will be MASSIVE. More then massive infact.

We would be into a f'ing GRAND FINAL! After the last 18 years how sweet this victory would be.

I would cry like a baby.

2015 my First son Jack was a still born, heading to the footy and watching the boys was my escape. Watching the boys improve year on year since 2016 has been amazing to watch and to see Co Captain Jack come back from injury and dominate brings a tear to my eyes.

Sorry to hear Philthy.

I think I’ll be a bit in between of beyond happiness joy and tears. The old man was a mad Dees man, our last game together was the 2000 grand final before cancer got him in Jan 01.

He’s been top of my thoughts the last 4 weeks in particular.

Buy a lot of cheese, a couple of bottles of Red and have an impromptu team meeting/celebration in my area of the building on Monday

Had a still born in 2007, luckily she was a twin so my boy Rocco is healthy, so joy and sadness, a bit like this Saturday going to be.

We were fortunate enough to have another boy November last year, can't wait to watch the game with Oliver even if he doesn't have much of an idea what's going on!
