Not a chance.

Say we don't get Gaff, would we consider Tom Scully back if he became available?

Shut this thread down, this is actually pissing me off.

Id rather drink Fosters for the rest of my life than have that [censored] return!

No way! Old money bags can go rot somewhere else, to watch the Dees win multiple flags while he retires with none.

Absolutely I'd have him back.

.......  *cough*

....... nah, just kidding!  I couldn't even keep a straight face whilst trying to type that! hahaha.

He would be the furthest thing from my  mind at recruitment time. His traitorous greed exceeds his loyalties. He is also like that on the few occasions where he took possession of the football. Some prospect. Even before he left the MFC, he was overvalued, overpaid, underperforming and unwanted. Glad he made it elsewhere for his own sanity.

Of course we would if we thought it would make our team stronger. How is Scully leaving Melbourne any different to Lever leaving Adelaide, or any other player who moves clubs? And I doubt that any of our current list really cares about a decision that was made 7 years ago that most of them would have made if they were in the same position.

The club is in the best shape it’s been in for 60+ years and there appears to be a genuine comradery amongst the players. A good way to [censored] that comradery would be throwing in the selfish turd known as Scully.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG to face the Tigers in their annual Blockbuster on ANZAC Eve for the 10th time. The Dees will be desperate to reignite their stuttering 2025 campaign and claim just their second win of the season. Can the Demons dig deep and find that ANZAC Spirit to snatch back to back wins?
