Happy so far.

There is more intelligence going forward which is good.

I'm also impressed with the Weed thus far. He seems to be clunking them thus far.

Weeds best half of footy (other than the complete miss from 35) for the club.  Very impressed and hope he can prove me further wrong in the 2nd half.  I reckon if he does we win this quite comfortably.

We’ve been a bit fortunate so far. We’re doing far better than I thought. Still I think this can turn against us really quickly.

Unrelated, I’m having s lot of trouble posting here. Takes forever to load and often crashes.

The same people who said we weren’t a chance before the game are complaining that we’re not further in front. Classic Demonland.

Yep.  One of the most infuriating things about this board, but it's probably true for most supporter bases.

We will revisit in a year or two Dazzle I have some doubts but …..??

Why people think it's a good thing to write off a kid 12 games into their career is beyond me.  Look at someone like James Harmes - he hardly set the world alight in his first 20-30 games, yet he's now a crucial part of our side.  Spargo is a kid with so much time on his side it's not even funny.  He has shown enough this season to suggest he can be a long term player for this club.  Why don't you get behind players for a change instead of cutting them down at every opportunity?

A lot on this site said as much but clearly he is the selectors Lurve child!

Yes, because selectors just queue up to select players who aren't up to it.

IMo there’s plenty going right but clearly room to improve. Some critical misses late in the second (Petracca getting too close to the man on the mark was a shocker). But they really lifted in that quarter, they’re a huge second quarter side, and we didn’t just hold them but we won the quarter too. And one of their goals was the worst free kick you’ll ever see.

It’s fair to call it as it is, they missed some chances, we missed some chances. Our whole year is a story of missed opportunities, I think it’s about time we actually took those chances.

I agree with most people’s assessment of Spargo, he needs a big second half. Otherwise he can’t surive another week. I’m sure the coaches aren’t oblivious to it and will be giving him a rev up.

That was a shocking free. Both had eyes for the ball, AvB didn't leave the ground, Cripps put himself in that position. Absolutely shocking call that cost a goal

Apparently he was reported for it as well.  Absolute joke.

Darling ruled out so they don’t have Naitanui, Gaff and their two key forwards.

If we can find a way to lose to WCE in that situation then Port Adelaide or North Melbourne deserve to be in the finals ahead of us.

End of story.
