Not sure if this has been covered but did anyone else think that Neville Jetta looked a little proppy in the last quarter. I cant imagine life without Nev but he looked as though he was treading water trying to chase an opposition player. Like Hogan he has an ungainly gait but this was definitely something else. Maybe Saty might be able to help with this.

ET don't be like that. Wouldn't like someone else to get their nose out of joint.

Fair enough. If it was the piece of play I’m thinking of, Nev just looked buggered from running hard.

Crows might get Matt Crouch and Milera back for Sunday

but are still without, Walker, Sloane, B Crouch, McGovern, Knight, and B Smith.  That's 6 of their best.  Shows how badly the dogs are going to only score 2 goals against them

With those outs we should expose them. :)

Jamie Bennell would consistently get a game in Darwin back in the day, often picked from nowhere to play so I wouldn’t be surprised if Spargo is rested & Garlett does come in, not entirely because of indigenous round but think it may play a part in Garletts secletion

In case you haven’t noticed, there have been huge changes at MFC since Jamie Bennell was on our list.

IF Bennell was getting picked to play in Darwin just because he was indigenous, i very much doubt if Garlett would be picked by the current match committee just because he is indigenous.

If the incident I am thinking of, commentators said he had just made two big efforts on the ball or tackling and was shot...

hopefully that is all it was.

As for the changes re: Adelaide - an 80% fit Matt Crouch with hamstring trouble doesn't worry me too much.  Our midfield is fit and firing and I have every confidence that we can run over the top of them.

Their backline is pretty well drilled and one of the better ones we've faced in the last month, so we'll need to be on our game in terms of how we use the ball forward of the centre.

Other than that we should have them covered!

Yep Wise, the last team we played that had six of their best (liberal) players out, we won by over 100 points, should be easy.....

We are running at a level way above the Crows right now.  Anything is possible at AFL level but If we hold our form this should be a very solid win and if the tea leaves are correct there is a good chance of a pretty big blow out in the offing.

Go Demons!

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’
