MELBOURNE is pleased to announce Melbourne Airport Parking as an official partner.

The new partnership will provide players and staff access to ‘at terminal’ and valet parking, reducing travel times for interstate games.

That Carpark organization are absolute crimminals. I have just spent time at the Airport over the last 3 days.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY is what they charge.

AND the sole reason that a rail link has not been built

Sorry but i despise that Carpark!!!!

Back on my day the carpark was free and a kid would be there selling homemade lemonade for a penny!

We use to play outside and drank water from a hose if we got hot!

We knew it was time to go home when the sun went down!

Kids and carparks have no respect these days!

We get to park there, but then have to wait 60 minutes for transfer to the terminal.

Once the bus arrives, though, it's very smooth, quick and direct.

Unfortunately, however, you'll miss your plane.

It's perfect for MFC.

The DEVIL???

I suppose we are the Demons .... still .... it feels like it's one step removed from being sponsored by Collingwood.

Might be an idea that the powers that be at the MFC get onto Megellan global trust, they have pulled their sponsorship at Cricket Australia.

That carpark is literally highway robbery

years ago I was on the fringe of one of the consortia looking at buying the airport.

The carpark was the main revenue earner then and probably still is despite the increase in retail tenancies.

They stuffed the whole airport when they built the first carpark and the hotel. If they had moved it back say 50-100 metres they would not have many of the bottleneck problems they now have.

Fancy having a departures lane with a pedestrian crossing from the car park ... engineering at its best.

They are reporting that the long term was already full for Easter this morning.  Incredible!  Why they need to sponsor us is beyond me.  But thanks!

I find it very strange that organisations like this sponsor. What do they get out of it?

Sydney Airport sponsor the GWS women's team. Why? If I'm going to Sydney I will go to the airport. There isn't any competition if I choose to fly.

they are competing with taxis , uber etc not to mention the many alternative parking services.

There is a fine balance between the price of parking and the point when people opt for an alternate. As I mentioned earlier the airport car park is a serious money making concern.

I think we will soon hear that the club has signed another sponsor who ties in well with the name of our B&F trophy!

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
