Hogan just said Viney to play in Sat praccy game

Now there's an article on afl.com.au saying that he won't play and if he doesn't play in the next Casey praccy game he won't play round 1. Here's a link http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-03-07/dees-dday-looms-as-he-struggles-for-fitness

From reports it sounds like he's back in full training, so I reckon Hogan's probably got it right.

Oh damn

Glad I'm going to watch, will be good too see him have a hit out

You will of course be expected to give a detailed report 5 seconds after the game is over not to mention live updates, photos and the occasional video in 4K. Thanks in advance. :P

Surely Frost is an upgrade and a better long term bet than Wagner??

I'm starting to think Frost is a bit overrated around here.

Not saying Wagner will be the next Steven Silvagni or Matthew Scarlett, but apart from the odd exciting dash since he's come over, is Frost really a better option than Wagner?

The match committee have really fallen out of love with him and I can't see how Frost will be anywhere near the round 1 side.

Given you’re not employed at the club,  you’re in absolutely no position to be commenting on whether or not the poster should be sharing the information.

It is his and his only to share. We have no idea who his connection is and so the risk is his to take if he decides to share it.

It’s the same with any of the posters on this forum who have connections at the club and share information from time to time. Whether it’s trade news, injury or anything else. The risk is theirs.

I suggest you put him on ignore, like you have with everyone else who rubs you the wrong way on here. It’d be beneficial for you, but more importantly everyone else on here who is sick of you bobbing up anytime a poster shares something that you’re not privy to.

I was privy, just kept it to myself, I certainly don't have the need, like some on here, to be the bestest by the way

I'm hopeless at this kind of stuff. I have not seen a single aspect of Wagners game that is worth a spot in the senior side.

I can see the positives on O Mac, and am rapidly warming to him as a key defender, but I cringe every time Wagner has the ball in his vicinity. Terrible situational awareness, very poor lateral movement for a defender, and a huge turning circle. He even annoys me how he runs with those wrists of his cocked like a girl.

What am I missing?

The only thing you are missing is that the above is your opinion of Wagner, strange though it may seem to you, others such as the coaches don't share it

JLT squad trained first this morning, no TMac and Harmes trained with the reserve players who came out later. Lewis, ANB running laps and 400m semi sprints. ANB looks to be moving ok. No Viney either.

You make some of the most pointless posts on this entire board, with so many of them a simple cut and paste of a previous pointless post of zero value.

Have a look at the other 3 people who replied to my post. All gave an opinion of what I might be missing, and added value to the thread, while yours was yet another cringeworthy fanboy whinge.

Ok you are missing the fact you could be wrong with your assessment of Wagner's footy abilities in comparison to say Brendan McCarney who I chatted about Wagner with,

Or my opinion, is that yes Wagner could still have areas of his game to improve, the progress of which have been hampered by injury, but this pre season, where he has completed every session, the improvement overall is there to see, to some at least

Give it a rest and let others have an opinion. The coaches just humour you, they’re not going to express concerns about a player’s development to an outsider.

Thanks.

Could Harmes be left out tomorrow night? From all reports he hasn't trained with the main group all week.

Is T Mac on the outer? Not in the leadership group, no talk of contract extension and now training with the reserve group for JLT 2.

Sorry, to clarify T Mac did not train today that I saw anyway. And pretty sure Harmes will be an omission.

Off legs @Tough Kent?

Just passing on what I heard.

Please put me on ignore. Why don't you just focus on loitering behind the players' tent after training and sending them invasive posts on their private Instagram accounts that they never respond to.

Doesn't it go without saying that everything posted on here is the poster's opinion? Unless they're quoting someone else or explicitly saying "this is someone else's opinion".

(This is someone else's opinion.)

Agree and its a pretty average team. I Don't rate their list management.

this time last year people were saying they were locks for the 8 and some saying the top 4!

Wagner and Frost both have limitations but Frost's strengths are so much greater than Wagner's.

Not a desirable post this one, either.

Yeah is Harmes in the dog house or something?

He’s gone from near BOG in JLT 1 to training with the maggoos.

my MFCSS is getting started again, but this really is seeming more and more bizarre...No show at Family Day and now training with the reserve players. What has he done wrong?

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play
