What, an open handed tap to the chest that had no reaction!  .

It wasn't even a push!!  What sort of medical report did they get?

No wonder the MRP didn't describe the 'incident' - there wasn't one!

I call BS!

No offence to netballers but ....

If that was deemed misconduct then surely Jacobs needs to go for pushing him into the other players.

There was more chance of damage (very, very little) from that incident.

When I first saw that video I genuinely thought they had put up the wrong video because I didn't see anything worthy of penalty.  On re-playing, I saw Oliver pushed in the back and thought he must have done something wrong after he got his free kick.  MRP on track for another outstanding year.

Perhaps this will help Oliver control himself from whacking players during the season - because you never know when they will duck as you swing and you get suspended.

I don’t even know what to say about that.

If he got fined for that then, yeah, I’m speechless.

Umpires obviously starting their rubbish decisions quite early this season. Clarry or anyone for that matter gets pushed through marking contests or packs of any kind should be watched by the powers/t/b closely. Most players relax at whistle and idiots pushing players into fences or packs can cause harm. Grow up Umpires and be on to it.........

Not one for conspiracy theories but I would like to know more about this medical report.

Really is time for independent medico reports perhaps.

Perhaps it was a closed fist.  Christian sis say he was going to come down hard on any punching, including to the body.  Open hand, next time.  Weak as pizz, honestly.  Glad they posted it, coz I missed it entirely!

Yeah thats what i was thinking. MRP probably trying to send an early message. IF it was a closed fist, take the fine and learn from it.

If it was an open hand it couldnt have possibly been fine-worthy.

AKA 30 Slabs.

Softest decision I've ever seen. An open palm shove to the chest with low force after being pushed in the back? If that warrants a fine, then surely tackling your opponent now warrants a 3-4 weeks suspension?

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
