Some of the boys looking tip-top. Most notably would be Stretch and Maynard.

Balic has some scribble on his leg which might be new..?

My math may be a little bit shaky, but it looks like a few players have opted to come back early - great to see!

Maybe he DOES know it's Monday.  He just forgot to put on clean undies this morning...

<Troll>

I don't like the look of Clarry dropping off the back of the pack like that.  Looks to me like he's been slacking off over the break again.

</Troll>

But in reality, there's some good feels in those photos and the video.  Weed looks like he's packing a bit more bulk which is nice.  Maynard is gigantic and as has been said, ANB seems to have set himself up for a big pre-season.

My god...that looks suspiciously like a.... MELBOURNE jumper...wtf !!

Hey, BB, I reckon that is great.  I never could understand why all the teams seem to persist with a training outfit that bears no relation to their team strip.  That other Melb one -- the one with the daggy red patch on the left shoulder of an otherwise blue shirt -- isn't a patch on the one that is a replica of our famous jumper.  Just hope they stick with it...!

Anyone know if Balic had an injury that would influence his running? The facebook post said he was at the back with the ruckmen in the running.

If I had read on many others picked up on "Sunday". I shall just slink off.

That's likely a result of not being in a professional club environment for a while. He played one WAFL match in early June and then came home to Victoria again after being granted personal leave by Freo. Prior to that he hadn't played since Round 4 at any level. He's likely coming off a low fitness base having not been at a club properly since April. No cause for concern, he's over his injuries and preseason is there to build fitness and strength. He's only got a one year contract so he'll have to bust his ass to get another contract with us in 12 months time.

He's been out of the game for a while but no injury I know of

Is this a new trend?

I wear bespoke linen underwear (prewarmed by the maid of course) but I've never thought of having them coded by the day.

Although, I must say wearing the same pair for a few days is comforting.

I may have gotten some dust in my eyes after reading that Gus is training and looking good. Injury free season please. ?

Nibbler led the pack in most running drills last year too if I recall correctly?

I have high hopes for nibbler I think he can be a very good player, if players like him take the next step finals are a Monty

That what our players thought before the final round this year.....and several times in the past.

Nothing is a Monty until it is.

Surely not being in a professional environment is no excuse for turning up NQR.....many amateur non footballers run themselves  into tip top fitness without being told to.

While Balic was at the back of the pack, he was also only a few steps behind Petracca. I don’t see anyone having a go at Trac though as he’s a fan favorite.

As I said, it’s no cause for concern at this stage. If Balic doesn’t put in the work and improve over the next few months then it’s a different story.

It's a blow the cobwebs out session ANB runs for fun, no surprise he stands out

Last thing Balic needs is to go silly and hurt himself first session
