Cotchin out?

His main issue is the impact will be seen as high with Sheil out for the game.

It's the way they determine things that is the problem. If you're eyes are for the ball it should be irrelevant what happens because there is always going to be incidents where someone gets hurt, it's a contact sport.

If Mrp consistent hed have to cop a fine, non intentional or not. Clipped Shiel. Shiel off concussed. Precedents exists for fine at least .or a week.

Luckily for Richmond the Mrp are anything but consistent.

Shiel'll get 3 weeks probably

He was going for the ball, shouldn't get rubbed out. But with the MRP you never know.

When you brace and choose contact before you try to get the ball, get a guy in the head, and concuss him, youre gone.  But AFL wont let that happen.

Deliberate, high and intentional. Cotchin has form and actually sped up to make the incident more hurtful to the head area.

Maggots up to their usual impartially bereft standard and heavily favoring Tigers to ensure their family GF Tickets.

Has to be rubbed out, hands didn't go for the ball, braced for a bump and had other options.

Theres the key, had other options, chose to hit him in the head.  All its needs is to be a fine, and hes's rubbed out.

Has 2 points already. Be a big story if tigers win. Though hope it is a draw . Haha couldn't give a funk

Has our game become so crazy that a player can be suspended for attempting to bump his opponent? Forget the precedents, fines, mrp etc, it's all crap and absolute over-policing of the game imo

It doesnt matter what the game "has become".  It matters being consistent and on this years precedents he has to go.  You dont change the rules because of the the game he could miss.

I think it matters. For a player to miss a potential grand final for that is unforgiveable. It's plain wrong. The current law is an ass.

But Cotchin is on his last legs in this regard. No fine applicable this time.

If he's guilty it'll be a week.

Personally, I think he should be okay. If it was one of our blokes I'd be filthy if they got rubbed out for something like that in a Prelim.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
