If its done, they can put the cue in the rack.  1 point or 100 is no difference in finals.  Can ease up and prep for next week.

given they only played 3 qtrs they ought to be fresh.

I overheard one of the coaches saying the boys were flat as a tack before the game for some reason, probably why they started so poorly

That is exactly what Lewis said about last Saturday's pre game mood vs Pies!

Mood must be contagious!

It is the weight of expectation, both sides have difficulty handling it

All learning, lots of lessons

Experience of big occasions we lack

U would be think they wouldn't need much encouragement to get up it's a FINAL FOR FFS.

Obviously the first quarter self motivation or lack of is hereditary.

Sounds like the ND line "the boys didn't come out to play"!!

Maybe MFC and Casey could share a psychologist.....the boys felt flat FCS is just no excuse, unless they actually had a flu epidemic.

We hear that total BS too often at our club.

This time last year, he was something of a surprise hero for the Scorpions when he emerged out of the Development League into the ruck where he had a good finals series with the Seniors before he was drafted as a rookie with Brisbane.

Now, congratulations go to Oscar McInerney on winning the Brisbane Lions Reserves B&F last night.

This is interesting KC and seeing that a player we'd developed in the 'twos' has gone to a club with their own priority selection zone, surely it begs the question, why can't other states have a priority to choose a player from their 'twos'? Obviously I'm asking from a Fritsch point of view, but I think it's a fair question.
