How many current and past players read/post on Demonland?

From memory Craig Cameron used to post here when he was recruiting for us. He was a good bloke and gave the forum plenty of insight without giving too much away. Worth noting that this was around 2003-2006, before the days of Twitter, smart phones and relentless social media scrutiny. I doubt he'd be doing it these days if he was still around.

I am certain that Cameron Schwab came on here sometime between 2008-2012 and responded to queries and criticisms about how the club was being managed. In a very defensive manner.

Paul Hopgood loves a chat with the boys. Get around him

So now I'm stuck trying to work out how 'Wrecked Owl Dees Function' cryptically comes out to Paul Hopgood and if you were that darned Riddler all along. A wrecked but functioning owl would probably need to hop good. And the Riddler certainly liked to pull one.

He certainly did - if I remember correctly said something along the lines of (paraphrasing) I'm glad some of you aren't negotiating sponsorships. Was sanctimonious crap then he disappeared when he was called on several issues plaguing the club at the time (in a respectful manner mind you).

One of my favorite players back in the glory days was Barrie Vagg, who is also one of my favorite posters here.

Presumably - in fact I think there are site rules governing this that one can't use a player's mane unless you are he - Ray Biffin also posts.

I had a nice mullet going at one stage, but I'm not sure I'd call it a mane.  The girls did use to like the mane, but yes as you say, there are rules on this site prohibiting it's use by posters here, so sorry lads.

That's right. Made one or two vague responses and then when someone challenged him he disappeared. Must have been busy making those Whiteboard Wednesday videos....

Just punch in 'Cam Schwab' into search bar under members. Good for a lol in hindsight

He realised that no matter what he said it wouldn't be listened to

He wasn't challenged, nobody is on here, you seem to be another who thinks this forum matters, it is entertainment, like all other forums

Like some of the past delisting threads and topics?

Like the sensitive thought-police who try and shut down opinions about the club or players?

Haven't looked at everything posted by CS, but anyone who thinks he wasn't challenged politely about club matters failed Comprehension 101.

However, I did chuckle when reading Curry & Beer gush all over Schwabby in one of his posts. :pj:

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

It's Game Day and the Demons are once again faced with a classic 8 point game against a traditional rival on King's Birthday at the MCG. A famous victory will see them reclaim a place in the Top 8 whereas a loss will be another blow for their finals credentials.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
