Wouldn't be surprised if White and Wagner come in. Wagner to play in place of Salem, Hunt to push forward in place of Garlett to add some x-factor and defensive pressure to the mix, and White to fill Hunt's usual role. 

That's the only rationale that comes to mind if White is selected ahead of Wagner (barring any other outs).

I'd say they're also making sure they have another back that can play on a 2nd/3rd option forward. He compete's really well in the air and I think is insurance knowing Tmac could spend the majority of the game in the forward line like last week.

Personally I thought White's game last week was outstanding and it excited me more than any of the other MFC players bar Weeds first 45 minutes. His foot skills were sublime

He's a beautiful kick so in that sense he's a good replacement for Salem

As others have said a raking left foot kick, is tough and has served a good apprenticeship in the VFL.

Has been in the bests 5 times this season which is more than anyone else at Casey so has obviously been consistent and carrying out coaches instructions.

Also has a winning AFL record (2W/1L)

Hopefully White will prove to be a good choice and will acquit himself well

There is of course the (admittedly really remote), possibility that the FD might know what they are doing and have chosen the replacements they think will do the best job against the Swans.

Interesting demons squad. It's so far from the predicted best 22 many of us had at the start of the season, yet I'm not doubting this group coming out swinging at Sydney.

Times have changed at our club. Belief is a powerful thing!
